About the adventure
Adventure Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wnGvCvIkq8 FROM 5E TO PF2E DUNGEONS OF DRAKKENHEIM is a Fifth Edition campaign for characters level 1 to 13 designed by the DUNGEON DUDES, Monty Martin & Kelly McLaughlin. As a seasoned GM I have spent months converting the module fully to Pathfinder 2e, and I've been running this module for 3 years. DRAKKENHEIM IS NO MORE Fifteen years ago, Drakkenheim was destroyed by an eldritch storm of falling stars. Now, the city is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artefacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins! DEADLY ADVENTURES IN THE DARK CITY Explore over 20 ruined urban locations including haunted streets, decrepit sewers, shattered mage towers, baroque cathedrals, and ancient castles inhabited by dozens of nightmarish new monsters inspired by dark fantasy and cosmic horror. Each site features evocative descriptions, gorgeous illustrations, and detailed maps. Personal quests, tantalizing rumors, and lightweight urban exploration mechanics allow player characters to experience the ruins in a nonlinear and open-ended fashion. DISCOVER THE MYSTERIOUS ORIGINS OF DELERIUM These strange crystals are found throughout Drakkenheim. The vast arcane magic within Delerium may fuel mighty new spells and magic items, but the stones emanate unnatural energies which induce madness and monstrous transformations. Unspeakable abominations have emerged from its contaminating influence, and bizarre Arcane Anomalies are triggered by its chaotic whims! During their adventures, characters can research ways to harness the power of Delerium, study its otherworldly origins, and discover means to protect against its deadly contamination! ELDRITCH CONTAMINATION Drakkenheim is suffused by a luminescent fog known as THE HAZE. Not only does this prevent characters from taking a rest anywhere within the city ruins, but the environment and monsters within can inflict a deadly new condition called ELDRITCH CONTAMINATION! Accumulate more Contamination Levels, they experience debilitating symptoms and develop otherworldly MUTATIONS. Beware, any who reach Contamination Level 6 are horrifically transformed into monsters! CLASH WITH SIX RIVAL FACTIONS A tangled web of secrets, subterfuge, and sabotage await between squabbling factions vying for control over Drakkenheim and the Delerium within. These organizations seek capable adventurers to join their cause and offer powerful boons as rewards; HOWEVER they will strike back against any who dare oppose them. The choices of the player characters shape the story. Only you can decide the fate of Drakkenheim.

About me
I'm an experienced GM and storyteller, a Foundry VTT module developer, a published game designer and a freelance artist specialized in painting fantasy characters. I've had my D&D content published by The Dungeon Coach and my art featured on Critical Role. I'm also the admininstrator of D&D New Zealand, the premier NZ based TTRPG community with over 11,000 members. Tabletop roleplaying games are a huge part of my life, and I absolutely love providing a premium play experience for my group. When I'm not running TTRPG games or painting art, I work in IT as a contractor and full time as a disability caregiver. Kindness is my culture.

Creating your character
Character Build Rules for This Campaign - We start at level 1. (but with Pathbuilder you can plan your character build out as far as you like) - You can select from any common options. If you see an uncommon or rare feat, heritage, background etc that you want, this requires GM approval. (Note that "uncommon" and "rare" are not more powerful options. This isn't D&D 5e. They are simply more rare in-world, usually due to being restricted to some faction or requiring a quest or special NPC training or boon to unlock) - Enable the variant options "Free Archetype" and "Ancestry Paragon". These give you additional feats for free to further flesh out your character. Enable these two variants in Pathbuilder by clicking Menu > Character Options > Check box "Allow Gamesmastery Guide Free Archetype" and "Use Gamesmastery Ancestry Paragon Rules". - You will also gain a free Campaign Feat at level 1 to further flesh out your character's backstory and connection to the world of Drakkenheim. This is chosen by the GM. - The pantheon of deities in this campaign uses the 22 gods of the Pathfinder 2e Player Core rulebook. The primary religion in this world is the Church of the Flame, who's worshippers revere Sarenrae, The Sacred Flame. All other deities that exist are considered "Old Gods" and their worshippers are few and far between. More info on in-world lore can be found in the Foundry lore journals (press J in Foundry to open them). - Each character has a Personal Quests as their core motivation, binding them to the campaign world. Some characters might have two Personal Quests if their backstory warrants it. As a reward for completing your Personal Quest you gain two Campaign feats (characters with two quests split the reward over both). These feats can be of a class, archetype, general or skill feat of any level up to your current level. How to Make a Character - Go to https://pathbuilder2e.com/. Purchase the software if you haven't already. (its the Pathfinder 2e equivalent of a fully unlocked D&D Beyond, unlocks every option in the game, no sub required, just $5.99 for a lifetime license) - Build your character using the Character Creation rules from the Core Rulebook. - If you feel overwhelmed by the number of feat options, set the filter to Core Only. - When finished, click Menu > Export JSON. Copy the number ID so you can import your character into Foundry VTT using the Pathmuncher import option located at the top of your Foundry character sheet. - I recommend you then save your Pathbuilder character to Google Drive by clicking Menu > Save Character.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a mic and a good internet connection. I also like everyone to have a webcam if possible, especially for groups that choose a less lewd play experience. For groups that choose a very lewd play experience, just a good mic for voice chat is fine. Your computer will need to be a little more than a potato to run Foundry, but the better your rig is the better your play experience will be. You'll need to be somewhat familiar with roleplaying games - Pathfinder 2e experience is not necessary, but it is encouraged. The Pathfinder 2e rules are free, so you don't need to buy anything. If you're not familiar with the system, I recommend checking out the free Player's Guide here. https://2e.aonprd.com/PlayersGuide.aspx
What Ardis brings to the table
🤯 An immersive roleplay experience 🤯 I can get deep into character and I love players who do the same. But I don't force anything - if you only speak in 3rd person you'll still have an incredible time. 🎧Ambient sounds and music🎧 I cultivate my own playlists which I play in full quality via Kenku on Discord. ⚔️Tactical, dynamic combat⚔️ New monsters and epic boss battles with dynamic shifting environments and victory conditions. 💪Advanced, balanced homebrew just for you💪 I create new items and abilities for your player characters so you can better express their unique character fantasy. 📖Intricate plots📖 Themes of love, loss, horror, betrayal and intrigue, all weaved together into an emotionally moving heroes journey with a dramatic finale. Each tale is personalized to the player characters' unique story. 🗺️Beautiful battlemaps and tokens🗺️ I use assets from Epic Isometric to create amazing Isometric maps in the style of Diablo 2 and Fallout 2. 🧑💻A Customized VTT🧑💻 A gorgeous landing page, world lore documents, detailed maps, a historical timeline and player journals. I provide a space for you to learn about the world of Drakkenheim and to record your journey. 🧑🎨Character art🧑🎨 I take commissions, but I will invariably grow to love your characters so much that I will just paint them for my own enjoyment. I've been known to draw fully coloured prints, memes, comics and even drawn animations. I also paint isometric tokens for the isometric battlemaps, so the face you see in your character art will be the same one trotting around the isometric map. 🗣️Discord server🗣️ With spaces to chat about life, discuss characters, and to share memes and jokes about our game. I also post player handouts there and art of NPCs, as well as notifying of any updates to the Foundry server.
Homebrew rules
Addition: AFLP Lewd Ruleset My campaign uses ArdisFoxx's Lewd PF2e, a popular ruleset I authored for adding NSFW actions, conditions, feats, items, monsters and spells to a PF2e game. Before the game, the group chooses a "lewd game mode" from 1-4, allowing the group to decide on how lewd their game will be, from the very mild to very explicit. An extensive session 0 and PDF guidelines will be given to outline these rules with an emphasis on open communication, flexibility of choice, and allowing players to choose just how lewd their campaign will be. Optional ERP channels can also be created in Discord to support ERP play-by-post between sessions to keep the fun going. Buff: Hero Points You can use a hero point to force a target to reroll a saving throw against a spell you cast this turn. After the reroll, the target is immune to this misfortune effect for one hour. Buff: Ancestry Battle Forms / Ancestry Summon Spells If an ancestry feat grants you a battle form spell or a summon spell, you can cast the granted spell heightened to half your level, rounded up. EG: A level 9 a dhampir with the night magic feat lets them cast animal form at rank 2. Using this house rule, the level 9 dhampir could instead heighten the spell to rank 5. Buff: Summon Spells When casting a summon spell, treat the maximum creature level as if you cast the spell at one rank higher. EG: A level 9 sorceress casting a rank 5 summon dragon spell can summon a level 5 dragon. Using this house rule, she could summon a level 7 dragon. Buff: Spellstrike (Magus) When making a Spellstrike imbued by a spell that has a saving throw, if you critically hit, the target gets a result one degree of success worse than the outcome of its save. Change: Addiction Drug addiction saves are not rolled after every dose of a drug. Instead, the frequency of the save is determined by the GM based on the drug usage. The maximum stage of any addiction is Stage 2. Change: Resting The rules below replace or amend the default rules for resting. Note that long rests cannot be completed within the contaminating eldritch haze that permeates the city of Drakkenheim and extends out to 2 miles around it. Rest. Completing a long rest takes 24 hours. A long rest can only be completed in an area of safety such as a secure encampment, an inn or a tavern; a place where you can eat well, rest and recover. Bath Houses. The most luxurious inns in the world are often appointed with a bath house. Spending 1 hour of bliss in a bath house reduces the required length of your next rest down to 8 hours. Some bath houses even have magic waters, enchanted by the Amethyst Academy to invigorate the muscles and sooth the spirit.

🔞Romance and Sexual themes🔞 Much like a good comedic scene, romance and sexual themes can provide a nice counterbalance to all the traumas and eldritch horrors that your adventurers will trudge through on a daily basis, but it's important that the group knows clear boundaries for such content, so we avoid any uncomfortable or confusing moments. There are 5 different "lewd game modes" to choose from in this campaign; I've created new items, spells, monsters, and conditions of varying lewdness from the very mild to the hard core, and the group chooses a "lewd game mode" during Session 0 as a baseline for how much of this content they will engage with during the campaign, with the option to change their mind on that as they grow comfortable with the group. Note: Romantic or sexual scenes involving PC on PC contact should be discussed with the players and the GM out-of-character first. If you think that you might want to pursue such a story beat, communicate - never surprise a player by having your character try to start a romantic or sexual scene with them without such discussion, as it may make them uncomfortable. 🗣️Communication🗣️ I'm a big proponent of transparent and frequent communication with players. The content that you're cool with might change over the course of a campaign, so we check in at the end of each session to make sure everyone is vibing at 100%. 🚸Session 0🚸 For me session zero starts as soon as players join, as I'm big on prepping players and making sure characters are integrated into the campaign before we begin. But I also run a free Session 0 for the whole group over voice chat before the game where we can sort our character bonds and have a Q and A before the campaign begins.
