Can't recommend him highly enough." - Brendan 💀Gothic story in Exandria💀 🕵️A Mystery Unfolds 🕵️ 💜Discover the past, present and future of the Haunted Mansion💚 About the Story: A gothic story set in the world of Exandria On the outskirts of Ferncombe an ancient mansion stands, home to the eclectic Corvinarus family. The towns people claim it's haunted, ever since it's last owner vanished under mysteries circumstances. Then, but a couple of weeks ago, a group of adventurers came to the village. They claimed to be a travelling with the Scion of an ancient Noble family. Their heritage, the haunted mansion on the outskirts of town. Ever since the travellers came, the villagers of Ferncombe claim to have been hearing screams and seeing strange lights coming from the mansion at night. Furthermore nobody has heard nor seen any of the adventurers since their arrival. Unfortunately you were one of those adventurers entering the ancient mansion. What did you see? And will you make it out of "A House Divided" In this official Foundry made adventure, you'll start at lv5 and run through to lv 10 or possible beyond. We use the official Wotc rules and added book of Tal'dorei reborn. Wheter you are beginner to D&D or a veteran, I'll happily help you along with character creation, learning the rules, learning Foundry and any other aspect of the game.

Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
This game fully supports the 2024 Ruleset ✅IMPORTANT, we at The Gaming Peeples, have a cut off time of 72h before any established campaign game launches. This time is needed to have an onboarding with the new player, to help guide them into the game and The Gaming Peeples community. IF this onboarding can't be completed 72h before game launch, the new player won't be able to join their chosen game, until the onboarding is completed.✅ Game will be played on a Bi-Weekly (every 2 weeks) basis. Even for a hardcore min maxer like me, Tom allows full player agency. If you are lucky enough to start a campaign from scratch, you will see that session 0/rules are setting up the table for success in terms of player collaboration. 100% will be playing DND with Tom unless I die IRL.

Been playing with Tom since a few weeks now in a Vaesen campaign. He is a terrific and accomplished storyteller, who keeps the players engaged, creates a great mood and uses sounds and visuals to great effect. The atmosphere is always friendly in his games and all players are encourage to be creative.

As someone who's always had problems with anxiety, having a dm who is inclusive, understands how different players are.. well.. different, and can adjust on the spot to meet those player's wants- these things were paramount to me. Additionally, as a new player I needed not only some guidance, but more importantly that safe feeling that is needed to allow someone to explore roleplaying. I'm so grateful to find GM Tom is all of these and more, and i greatly look forward to more games with GM Tom in the future!

Tom is an incredible Game Master. Very friendly and helpful. Builds an awesome setting. Guides you thru the confusing parts and lets you explore his world and your character. Would 100% recommend.

Tom was my first GM on StartPlaying, and he absolutely rocked it! The roleplaying was spot on, the combat was tons of fun, and the Foundry VTT setup was extremely fast and full of all the bells and whistles. Can't recommend highly enough if you're player who loves both quick combat and world-building in equal measures.

How will character creation work
🛡️Characters will begin at Level 5. Characters concepts will be done before session 0. Players who join later will start at the current level of the group. 🛡️🛡️We'll use the point buy system or the roll system, this is up to the players. We decide this as a group before Session 0. 🛡️🛡️🛡️I would recommend keeping your race, class, subclass & background choices to the official Wotc content and the extra Exandria books like Tal'dorei Reborn. But should you want to play something from another official WoTc source, reach out to me and I'm sure I can accommodate. 🛡️🛡️🛡️🛡️Homebrew idea's will have be submitted prior to game start or prior to session 0 and will be approved on case by case basis.
