About the adventure

Join the crew of the Sabe-class fast frigate USS Leonov as they respond to an extinction-level threat. The Edwards-class Federation cargo vessel Everest entered warp 35 days ago carrying a full load of Topaline. They blew past their designated de-warp point 26 hours ago. All attempts to hail them have gone unanswered, and all external commands to the vessel have been unsuccessful. The ship is on a collision course with the planet Rator III, an inhabited Romulan world just inside the Neutral Zone. Should the Everest’s path be unaltered, it will enter the planet's gravity well in three days. The ship will be torn from its warp bubble seconds before impact, crushing it like a tin can and scattering its toxic cargo over three continents. The resulting casualty toll is expected to be over 90% of the entire population. Starfleet has already warned the Romulans of the potential threat, but they claim to have no ships that can respond in time. There are those in Starfleet Intelligence who believe this to be a lie, and that the Romulans would sacrifice an entire world to avoid revealing their most advanced vessels. Either way, you are the only Federation crew that is close enough to respond, and it will take 51 hours just to get into position for an intercept. From that point on, 1 billion souls and peace between the Federation and the Romulans are in the hands of the Leonov.
