Star Trek - These Are The Voyages
Star Trek Adventures | Campaign
About the adventure
FIRST SESSION FREE! Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of a brand new crew ready to be diplomats, warriors, scientists and everything in between. This will be run as a campaign comprised of individual adventures and missions, tied together by the overarching story your characters will build themselves and the wider galaxy of the 24th century. So be prepared to seek out new life and new civilisations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before (Star Trek theme plays loudly in your head)
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

Our game was very fun! Gnoll laid the setting very well, immersive, great maps, memorable villain, descriptions made me feel part of the world. Combat flowed well and Gnoll enabled the “moves” without making it too easy. And great plot twist/cliffhanger for next time!
Matt has deftly and patiently led us through a deeply thought-out campaign for years now, which always manages to stay fun and adaptable to whatever nonsense our group gets up to. He clearly puts a great deal of work between sessions into planning exactly how the story could progress in a way that would be interesting for our characters to interact with. He's also just a lovely guy, which helps!
Our DM has been truly great. I look forward to every session. He’s been great at rolling with player’s ideas and adding a personal flair to the campaign. He’s made it really easy to become emotionally invested in our characters and the experiences they’re having. I’ve been on the verge of tears through laughter and sadness. He’s been great at assisting me in getting to grips with the rules again after not playing for a long while. D&D night is the highlight of my week and it’s been a privilege to have him as our DM.
My thoughts on Gnoll and Void; I am very new to D&D, I got interested in it from playing BG3 and way way back when I used to read the "play Your Own Adventure" books and I like cracking out Warhammer on the regular... So I have been a fan of the fantasy genre for some time, but never been a character in it... I started my session with Gnoll and Void, and they were very accommodating, very helpful and very patient with new players. I am, by design, very forgetful and so I have to frequently ask for clarification on rules - and our GM answers with enthusiasm and positivity everytime, so I never feel like im a bother. Sessions are always fun, always leave me with a sore throat from laughing so much and its always a good atmosphere when everyone is participating. There is a nice feel of progression as you get further into the lore of the campaign, you can feel your character powering up and this due to the good pacing set by the GM. As a group we have evolved from a rag tag collection of individuals to a team of battle hardened, but questionable individuals, who are happy role playing together, getting in character and even using props. The GM gets in character too, providing some very unique character accents and fleshes out even the most minor of details to help build the world and lore. You can only do this in a relaxed comfortable environment and thats exactly what our GM brings to the table (pun intended) Wednesday nights cant come quickly enough ! Would absolutely recommend no matter your experience level! Chad Bagel approves.

Gameplay details
Star Trek has always been intended for all ages but does often push that as far as it can go. It can challenge cultural norms and can question the nature of our society. While every effort has been made to provide an inclusive and safe environment, we will also use an open door policy as well as the Luxton technique for potential triggers
