About the adventure
Those who reside at Hargrave House are mysterious in more ways than one. Despite their unknown pasts and motives, they're all united in one duty - finding and neutralizing the monstrous threats that plague London - and are constantly besieged with opportunities to fulfill said duty. The Palais de Gaiete, a popular music hall in the West End, has been victim to a string of unusual activity - gifts left in locked rooms, less expensive personal items missing, and other such things. Supersitious performs believe it to be the work of a haunting spirit, calling it the West End Wraith. Lady Pipewell (Billy Bowman), a rising star at the Palais, fears they might be the target of an obsessive fan. The manager, Miss Lily DeVere, concerned for the safety of her staff and patrons, has asked Hargrave House to conduct a discreet investigation - she's wary of spreading panic. Only the Hunters can get to the bottom of whatever may be plaguing the Palais and put a stop to it before something truly terrible happens. The Between is a gothic horror game about Victorian-Era monster hunters. This is a simple starter mystery for players of all experience levels, so feel free to join even if you're unfamiliar with the system! Note: This oneshot will be following the ruleset of the 'preview' version of the Between i.e. not the recently-released ruleset. Note: Except for under extenuating circumstances, leaving the game less than 3 hours before game time will not be refunded.

About me
Hi, I'm Sonder, I use she/her pronouns, and I've been playing and GM-ing TTRPGs for about 5 years, and designing them for about 2. I love collaborative storytelling and greatly enjoy tailoring narratives for characters. I've run a variety of TTRPGs spanning various systems and genres such as Monster of the Week, Masks, The Between, Absurdia, and a variety of other PbtAs. I'm also familiar with similar systems such as FitD, Belonging Outside Belonging, Rooted in Trophy, and the Resistance system. I would be more than happy to tailor any of these games to suit your table's needs! I'm also open to running any other rules-light TTRPGs of a similar nature, so feel free to reach out to me anytime!

Creating your character
Upon signing up for the game, you will receive an invite to the Discord server where the game will be hosted. There you will find a player resources channel with a Google Drive with the fillable character sheets, lines and veils document, and available playbooks. Characters will start at the base creation level. Feel free to ping me at any time if you have any questions!
