About the adventure
The world after the Gehenna is a strange place for kine and Kindred alike; with the damage caused by the Antediluvian's caulked up to climate change, the kinetic has begun to repair there world and by proxy, the World of Darkness. In the up-and-coming city of Renfield Arizona, a small group of vampires seek to establish themselves in this new, post-Final Nights landscape that they find themselves in. You are part of that group, and you will need to do whatever you can to survive the machinations and general tomfoolery that you will undoubtedly encounter as you strive to make something of yourself. This is a V20 homebrew game based in a custom setting that uses a mix of canonical World of Darkness lore, pop-culture influences, and unique (if not silly) concepts to allow players a chance to play as the disaster vampire they always wanted to. We will be using a mixture of Discord, Roll20, and Zoom to run this chronicle, and will be utilizing Session 0 as well as Monte Cook's Consent in Gaming Checklist as safety tools. The pacing of the campaign will have the players using pre-generated characters for a short 'prelude' story arc to allow them to familiarize themselves with the setting and to learn the mechanics before jumping into the setting and story proper.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I'm a semi-professional person and all around were-adult who likes to run TTRPG to satisfy both my compulsive need to please people and my aversion to real life problems I can't control. I've been running games long enough to know that if your game doesn't at least partially run off of Air Bud "the rulebook doesn't say that a dog CAN'T play basketball"-style logic then you need a new game. On a more productive note I will say this; I enjoy creating a fun space for players to tackle challenges and tell stories, and that means gamers from across the spectrum. Racists, TERFs, and other various bigots will find my table about as welcoming as a kick to the genitals, and I have no problem turning down or returning money to drive that point home. As for game systems, I currently enjoy running/homebrewing D&D 5e, though I have run other systems before (Start Wars Saga Edition, Mutants & Masterminds, the Dragon Age ttrpg, Pathfinder 1e and VTM) and am willing to be flexible. Rules lawyers and power gamers will find themselves in an esoteric clusterfuck of a campaign from which they will not be able to escape unharmed. If you'd like a taste of my DM-ing style, checkout my D&D podcast/dumpster fire Disasters & Dragons (link below). Creating your character
So players will be using one of several pre-generated character sheets that they can flesh out for the opening arc (or 'Chapter 0' if you will) of the game. After which if they want new characters (or to tweak the pre-generated ones) we will have a session "0.5" where we create player characters proper and integrate them into the setting.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Having a functional mic for Zoom is something of a must have if for no other reason than to be able to roleplay with the rest of the players. Beyond that things like cameras or character art are nice additions but not required. Dice rolling will be handled digitally, as will character sheets so the only thing players will really need is a willingness to learn how to operate systems like Discord, Roll20, and Zoom.
What Daniel brings to the table
I have a Roll20 account which we will use to run/manage character sheets and for players to do there rolling digitally online. I also have Discord which will be used to keep track of session notes and other information, and a Zoom account for the actual roleplaying proper.

How Daniel creates a safe table
So the way this will work is once I have a group I will invite them to the discord where the links and materials for the campaign will be available to them. Players will have access to lore and mechanical resources, as well as the various safety tools needed to navigate this game.
