About the adventure
Supervillains. You've seen them on the news, maybe even glimpsed them in real life. They're out there. They do impossible things all the time. They make jets that run on nothing but water, or grow thirty feet tall, or convince people to pay them to drink bleach, or break out of maximum security prison. They fight toe to toe with superheroes, and make ordinary people cower. Ordinary people like you. But, you have to admit, they're entertaining. How do they do it? Well, there are a wide range of origin stories. Industrial accidents, alien heritage, mechanical genius, radioactive- It's demons! It's all demons. That's the real secret. All this talk of 'origins' is a smoke screen. They're powered by demons. And you know, because you've got a demon now to. Exactly why so many demons are showing up in the hands of faculty and staff at Brigham Young University is a good question, but a better question is... what are you going to do with that power? Will you become another masked supervillain, threatening the world to rake in mad stacks? Or will the better angel of your nature win out? Oh, and by the way: You don't just play your mortal villain. You also get to play another player's demon. Have fun.

How to prepare
Players will need a mic and a Discord account. I'll provide a Milanote link. Probably will help to own the rules, and read it if possible, but things are not so complex you can't wing it on the day.
What I provide
I will bring the rules, the set up, and a boat load of enthusiasm! I'm here to twist everything you bring in on itself and make this a constant trial of moral complexities and goofy supervillain nonsense. Game has a certain grounded aspect, but rule of cool carries powers far.
Gameplay details
We will do Lines and Veils at session 0, and the X card will always be available during play. Better Angels is a comedy game, but one that touches heavily on moral issues and modern day concepts, so there may be some hairy stuff in the mix.

How will character creation work
We're using an alternate character creation where everybody makes their mortal Hellbinder, complete stats, and their Screwtape gets to pick all their Powers and Aspects. A cleaner divide for new players. We'll go over characters and divvy up demons at session 0, as well as filling out some details of the setting and world, making NPCs and so on.
