Monster Mommies | Single parents reborn as monsters | New!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
One minute you’re nodding politely at another PTA meeting, the next you wake up in a completely different world, in a completely different body. You are now some kind of powerful, magical monster, and judging by the wide-eyed little creature clinging to your leg, you’ve apparently *inherited some responsibilities*. The situation is dire. The so-called "Pure Races" (humans, elves, all those smug pointy-eared and smooth-skin types) have decided that monsterkind is a problem best solved with complete eradication, and somehow you are all that stands between the monsters and extinction. Oh, by the way... were you worried about your own kids? Because good news! They’re somewhere in this world too: Possibly in enemy hands, possibly in trouble, and possibly worst of all... unsupervised. So now, on top of organizing a resistance and coming to terms with your disturbing number of new appendages, you also have to find your children before they get into trouble or indoctrinated into the Pure regime. What You Will Do: - Wrangle monster tribes and protect them against enthusiastic Pure Heroes. - Hunt down your missing kids before they commit war crimes. - Discover unsettling truths about your new magical body - Teach everyone how to share and play nice. Even in a magical world, parenting is still a full-time job. Only now, it comes with fewer unpaid bills and somehow... more chaos.
Game style
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
