About the adventure
A science team arrives at the end of known space to study a new life form on the brink of a collapsing black hole. This published scenario is rife with horror, surprise, and classic Alien tropes. As a GM, I set the scene with dramatic visuals, tasty descriptions, and then let the players drive the action. I don't pull punches with the challenges. I improvise when needed and I don't make up random stuff because I think it's cool or "out there." It's not going to be a railroad either. I like that squishy middle where players and GM create a unique experience together.

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

How to prepare
Please have a webcam, an active Discord account, and good mic with either no background noise or the ability to use push to talk.
What I provide
I'm going to walk you through everything and provide all the materials needed. You really just need to show up with a good connection, be on time and be ready to have fun.
Gameplay details
I use the Deck of Player Safety on Demiplane to understand player needs and adhere to them. Players are welcome to private message me an X, N, or O at anytime during our session. Players are also free to place a message in public chat or ask for a break.
