About the adventure

The world has been destroyed by the Demon King Dabura after he has escaped the clutches of Babidi. Upon stopping the resurrection of Majin-Buu, the Demon King petrified the Z-Warriors, turning them into stone decorations in his new palace on Earth. Earth has been turned into a hellscape, with demons and danger floating around and no one to stop them. You are a ragtag resistance trying to save the world and put it back the way it was. Fight, struggle, and train your way forward to try and defeat the Demon King. This is a story that uses the DBU (Dragon Ball Universe TTRPG) system, which uses D&D 5e as a base, but evolves with different systems and structure. This is a beginner friendly game meant to provide an opportunity to experience the fun this system can bring!

How to prepare

Players should prepare by having access to a computer/tablet of some kind and a microphone. The game will be hosted on FoundryVTT so access to internet and a browser of your choice is necessary as well. It is necessary for players to at least glance over the rules ahead of time to get a basic understanding of the game.

What I provide

I bring my experience as a professional GM, ensuring that player ideas can be made in my games. I also bring the use of a VTT for this system and custom maps for the story. I also use ambient music to ensure that the immersion is intensified. My GMing style is to use the rules as a base but to allow for Rule of Cool when players show creativity and initiative. I want to reward good ideas, not punish or give a monkey's paw. Some things may be impossible on their own, but my motto is that with enough creativity you can make the impossible possible.

Gameplay details

To access the consent checklist, there will be a link provided in the discord use to run the game, and the X, N, & O's are all digital. Players can expect a smooth and fast paced combat experience, with a lot of room to flow and make important decisions. There will be many areas to roleplay and you can even solve problems without fighting. I ensure that player creativity is rewarded and do my best to facilitate a fun adventure that focuses on letting players shine and be the heroes of the story.

How will character creation work

Character creation will occur during session 0 so assistance can be provided to anyone who might be confused about the process. The starting level will be Power Level 1 (same as Level 1). There are no restrictions to the races that can be played, so long as you share a similar goal and intent in the story. The exact rules for character creation and the game will be provided in the discord.
