I've only just begun my adventure with Rafo, but I'm already hooked! His profile, GM social media presence, and games were the first to catch my attention, but his personality is really what locked me in. In our session zero, he took the time to answer all my questions and helped tailor a game that incorporated my interests while respecting any limits or concerns I had. I'm currently playing a duet post-by-post Lost Mine of Phandelver game with him. His descriptions bring the world to life, weaving in details that help immerse me in the game. He easily integrates my character into the story, having his loveable and interesting NPCs look to my character for decisions, making my character a vital part of the adventure. As I am writing this, we've had two sessions (post-by-post), which is about two weeks long. We've already written 10 pages together. Yay! Rafo keeps the game moving by giving a nice post every day, even surprising me sometimes with more than one. He is very responsive throughout the week, addressing questions, comments, and concerns, and even engages in some friendly game-related conversation. It makes the experience feel so interactive and shows that Rafo loves what he does. His style is engaging, giving many opportunities for memorable social interaction and exciting battles. He uses each dice roll, good or bad, to propel the story forward in a pleasing way. I have never felt cheated or punished even with a low roll. I really appreciate Rafo's hard work and hope we can continue this campaign for many many more pages. :) If you're looking for a fun and engaging game, I highly recommend playing with him!

How will character creation work
I am open to nearly any ideas for character creation. After the backstory and the character sheet are done, I will assign a custom feat and a magic item that will be created referencing the character's backstory. Character Creation Guidelines Ability Scores: Two sets of rolls or point buy. Starting Money: 5d4 x 10 gp. Starting Level: Begin the campaign at Level 3. Your character should have prior adventuring experience, reflected in their backstory. Custom Backgrounds: Allowed. Optional Class Features: Allowed. Custom Origin: Allowed. Race: All official races are allowed, but note that most inhabitants of Barovia are humans. Other races may be seen as unusual by the locals.
