About the adventure
Welcome to Crimson Falls, a place that clings to shadows and secrets like moss to old stones. Hidden deep within the Appalachian wilderness, this town is tethered to ancient curses and a lingering darkness that its residents pretend not to notice. The Witchwood forest borders the town, a tangled sprawl of twisted oaks, ancient pines, and half-whispered legends that seem to shift whenever someone dares to look closer. Strange lights flicker deep in the trees, and the crimson-streaked waterfalls glow under the right kind of moon, as if the earth itself is bleeding. In Crimson Falls, you will confront the unknown forces that claw at the edges of reality. As one of its inhabitants, your fate is tied to the town’s history—a history that whispers of cults, restless spirits, and darker things lurking just beneath the surface. When the shadows stretch long and the night air fills with the hum of unseen forces, every choice could drag you further into the darkness. Join us for a weekly game using the Chronicles of Darkness system, where every encounter leaves its mark, and the things that haunt this town have been waiting for someone like you.

How to prepare
Webcam and mic are needed. An account on Owlbear Rodeo would be helpful if/when we need a VTT.
What I provide
Discord is our primary platform. If a VTT is required for certain scenarios, we will use Owlbear Rodeo. I embrace the Rule of Cool and I try to stick to theme more so than rules.
Gameplay details
We will have a discord channel where lines, veils, and any other issues discussed during session 0 will be logged. I am always available to discuss issues and am flexible on most things.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen durring Session 0 and before Session 1. Come ready with a few ideas of what kind of character you would like to play and we will explore them more during Session 0 as well as during the before Session 1. Characters ideas should be human with some personal flaw/horror in their history. Supernatural abilities are on the table, but they should be narratively linked to some trauma/issue in their past. We will be using primarily the Chronicles of Darkness 2nd edition core book as well as Hurt Locker.
