About the adventure
In this game we will explore the dark and creepy world of The Old Gods of Appalachia. The characters will investigate and deal with all manner of spooks, boogers, hollow men, and haints. This game uses Monte Cook Games Cypher System. I like to keep things easy going and in a PG-13 level. I like for all of the players to feel included.

About me
I started playing Dungeons and Dragons with the basic red box set in the early 80's. I played AD&D 1st and 2nd editions. I ran some games sporadically. I have also played Rifts, Beyond the Supernatural, and The Expanse RPG. I started running games regularly with 3rd/3.5 edition. I have been running games in 3.5 for 23 years. I run games that are PG13. I don't run games with sexual content. I don't allow characters with evil alignments. I have several modules that I would like to run. I don't want political discussions in my group. I think that games are for everyone to forget about the crap in the world and have a good time.

Creating your character
We will create character during session 0. We will create characters according to the Core Rules only. We will not be using any homebrew sources.
This game will be ran on the Second Saturday of the month. I am looking to have session 0 on December 14 for character creation and to discuss player expectations. The first session with game play would be on January 11, 2025
What to expect
Preparing for the session
If you have access to the Old Gods of Appalachia core rules you can look over them. I am ok if you wish to learn as you play as well.
What Casca brings to the table
I will provide a game in Roll20 VTT, a discord server for communication, music, maps and images to help set the mood. I use the rules as written but do strive to allow the Rule of Cool as well.

How Casca creates a safe table
I will use session zero, breaks and open door policy for any concerns a player may have. They are free to take a break as needed. I just ask for them to communicate with me.
