Get in the Car, Loser! | Supers on a Road Trip
Masks: A New Generation | Campaign
About the adventure
You are a band of street-level, super-powered teens, or whatever is closest to it, hitting the highway to right wrongs, solve crime, and kick ass, one town at a time. The highway stretches forever towards the horizon and you can't go back to wherever you came from. Each sunset in a new place sees you hunting down super villains, making friends, and forming bonds with the locals. Then you fill the tank and hit the road once again. --- Get in the Car, Loser! is a Villain of the Week type of superhero adventure crossing teen super team drama with a road trip across the States. Engage powerful threats, comfort and support each other, occasionally take a powerful blow, and through it all, grow into your own image of yourselves. May the Road Rise With You.

All the games I've played with Gabriel have been incredibly interesting and exciting, the story draws you in instantly, they're great at matching any tone the game requires, and also at creating a fun, safe and inclusive environment with a great balance of silly/funny and serious.
I had a really great time while playing the Cairn one-shot! It was a very freeing experience! No counting how many feet you can move or how many spell slots you have or how many legendary resistances an enemy has. There are some rules but just a few. The rest was up to us and our imagination! Gabriel made it an even greater experience with his energy and fun-loving personality! And I actually got to roll physical dice for the first time since I've started playing TTRPGs! I would highly recommend this GM to any player that's trying to get into the world of TTRPGs for the first time and they don't want to be overwhelmed by all the rules, races, classes, etc. that are out there. I would also recommend him to any veteran player that wants to experience a breath of fresh air in the world of regular TTRPGs.
Really enjoyed my oneshot intro to Cairn 2e! Being completely unfamiliar with the system, I have to just say how freeing it was to not worry about all the work that goes into D&D 5e. Character creation was so simple, Gabe let us roll our own REAL dice, and we had to learn to pull together as a team to manage curiosity against resources. That pressure mixed with slight paranoia was really great, it was really fun and allowed for some wonderfully creative moments. A few points worth noting: Everyone was made to feel comfortable and included. Lines and veils were discussed and agreed on. While the material components were simplistic from the players side, watching Gabe get into character, hearing the voices, having that base map with everything else described via theater of the mind was anything but! It was such a a lovely aspect that I really enjoyed. They have such a vibrant energy that really lights up the table and bleeds life and light right into it. If you are used to playing D&D 5e, throw all those expectations away and just enjoy. Don't overthink it, don't try to meta game. This is different, but in a refreshing way. Characters won't be modded, buffed, or statted out, but that's okay! Overall, had a great time, and look forward to continuing my adventure at some point. Thanks, Gabe!!

How to prepare
We are going to need: - a stable internet connection; - a quiet location; - an ok microphone so that everyone hears you nicely; - access to a computer (while you could play on the phone, it may slow down the pace quite a bit. Recommendable, but not essential: - a webcam; - writing implements for your own notes (digital or physical, whatever you prefer).
What I provide
I am going to provide the basic play materials, such as PDFs, virtual whiteboards, and any other virtual play aids necessary, and a discord server.
