About me

Hey! I'm Dyer, I've been playing RPGs for over 30 years, my older brother started playing them with me before i hit double digits and I'm familiar with a wide variety of games. I am a progressive, non-adversarial GM that believes in player agency and table safety. I also absolutely love teaching people new games, and thought this would be a great way to do that.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be built/finalized during the session 0, though you may come with concepts or already built characters in mind! I strongly suggest building your character in pathbuilder first even during the session 0 because while foundry/forge is very nice with the easy drag and drop character building it offers no guidance or limitations when doing so. If you need any help feel free to message me on discord leading up to the game! ✅ Starting Level 11 ✅ Variant Attribute Boosts: Allowed ✅ Ancestry: All Allowed ✅ Heritage: All Allowed ✅ Classes: All Allowed ✅ Backgrounds: Most Allowed (Ask about Rares) 🔥 The Backgrounds in the Player's Guide are made to specifically help you in the campaign, so give them a look as you decide, but you don't NEED to choose from them if you prefer another. ❌ Optional Flaws: Not Allowed ✅ Gradual Ability Boost ✅ Free Archetype 💯 Refer to the free Ruby Phoenix Player's Guide for suggestions on

The current party

- Group Theme: Everyone works at the same restaurant (The Temple of Earthly Indulgence)

What to expect

Preparing for the session

✅ Have a basic idea on how Pathfinder 2E works (even if you haven't played before) ✅ Link for the Player's Guide will be provided, it is suggested you look it over. ✅ Mic minimum, video is optional (please check to make sure you are having no sound/video issues with discord before the game begins the day of the game) ✅ Familiarize yourself with character options to expedite character creation, pathbuilder is a mostly free character creation tool and most of the information for Pathfinder 2 is made available for free on the Archives of Nethys website. ✅ Require access to Discord and the ability to join a server dedicated to my campaigns for ease of communication. ✅ Have a Forge-vtt.com account (this hosts my foundry server), its free!
