About the adventure

Destiny's a fickle thing - especially when someone’s trying to steal it! In Stolen Fate, not even the cosmos can keep its plans straight, and now it’s up to a ragtag group of heroes to set things right. Handpicked by a mystical Harrow deck, your destiny’s now intertwined with a pile of powerful, missing cards that might just hold the key to saving the future (or utterly ruining it). Collect all 54 Cards of Fate, each one imbuing you with new powers, as you traipse through a multiplanar adventure! Rule over your own realm, building alliances and customizing your land. Soon enough, you'll be the most powerful force of destiny! ------- Stolen Fate is a levels 11-20 Pathfinder Adventure Path. With lots of room to run around and discover new places, you'll be building an entire world.

About me

🦎 He/Him 🦎 StartPlaying's resident roleplay expert, with over a decade of experience performing, directing, and teaching theatrical improvisation. Based out of Montréal, Québec. Aside from running RPGs, I also offer roleplaying workshops and coaching sessions. If you would like to commission a session for you and/or your players and/or other GMs, please DM me. Or keep an eye out for my free webinars! I'm also a published children's author. I run weekly volunteer games for neurodivergent youth. I can play the piano and ukulele. I beat the final boss in Elden Ring. My favourite apple is Mcintosh. If you enjoy a bit of humour and a focus on growing your character and the world around your character, we're going to be like two peas in a pod. Or two goblins in a cave. Or two owls on a branch. Or two bananas in one peel - which is quite rare, but can happen.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created in Foundry VTT together, particularly to work on background, during session 0. However, you can feel free to create your character build in Pathbuilder ahead of time, if you have an idea. Just please make sure to read the official Gatewalkers Player Guide first: https://downloads.paizo.com/StolenFatePlayersGuide.pdf

The current party

The party is currently level 15, with a bard, oracle, and fighter. Join up and complete the pack! By joining, you affirm: - You're a cool person and won't engage in any transphobia, ableism, racism, misogyny, etc. - You're interested in a higher level, open world-ish Pathfinder AP - You want to go on episodic adventures collecting cards!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players should have a Discord and Forge VTT account ready to play. A decent computer is required for the full benefit of Foundry, but it does not need any fancy bells or whistles. Please make sure to have a working mic and headphones.

What Salman Corbette/TOTAL IMPROV brings to the table

I will bring a souped-up premium adventure path on Foundry, a diverse range of voices and scoring, and a whole lot of silly shenanigans.

Safety

How Salman Corbette/TOTAL IMPROV creates a safe table

While this Adventure Path, and Pathfinder more broadly, deals with a lot of violent and horror concepts, ones that in particular reflect modern, lived experience will be treated cautiously and with care. Stars & Wishes at the end of every session will ensure that we're all on the same page, and a Hands Up module ensures you'll be heard at any time.
