About the adventure

In this campaign, a group of adventurers is summoned by their Adventuring Guild to take job investigating the source of a strange occurrence. A young girl, seemingly innocent, is at the center of a mysterious and growing threat: her uncontrolled powers are tearing rifts in reality, drawing the terrifying Domains of Dread into the Material Plane. In this D&D game, the players find themselves entangled in a haunting mystery involving a young girl with a strange and dangerous gift: her dreams and nightmares manifest in reality, warping the world around her. This power has started to unravel the boundaries between the Material Plane and the sinister Domains of Dread, realms filled with terror and dark magic. As the girl's emotions and fears intensify, they tug these domains closer, threatening to merge with the Material Plane entirely. Each Domain they might visit holds its own horror and unique character. In Odaire, they may face an unsettling land where innocence is tainted, and sinister secrets lurk in a seemingly picturesque village. Tepest brings them into a forested land of witch hunts and superstition, where villagers are suspicious of any magic and hostile to outsiders. Har'Akir looms with the weight of ancient curses, and in its desert sands, powerful undead awaken with the girl's nightmares. Lamdoria entraps them in mist and decay, where reality bends and sanity is easily lost. They may find themselves wandering unknown labyrinths, where every path feels endless and the walls whisper their fears back to them. In Souragne, the swamps are thick with mystery, and an oppressive magic hangs over the marshlands, steeped in dark voodoo and restless spirits. The closer they get to understanding the girl and the source of her power, the stronger the pull of the Domains of Dread becomes. Each domain tests the party's will, their fears, and even their bonds, as they struggle to piece together clues from the girl's dreams. To stop the merging of these dread-filled realms with their own, they must find a way to break the connection without losing themselves to the darkness that surrounds her mind.
