How to prepare
You will absolutely need: - a Discord account (free) - a D&D Beyond account with at least open character slot - an up to date version of Chrome (free) - a functioning microphone The following are welcome but optional: - a webcam - a character you've already created (changes may be needed to suit the campaign)
What I provide
Not only am I incredibly passionate about D&D and my role as a DM, but I bring the following amazing things to the table: - A customized Foundry VTT instance with a plethora of modifications, maps, ambiences, and more - A Discord server through which I'm always available for questions - Integration with D&D Beyond, so your character sheets will always be up to date outside of game time
Gameplay details
I'll make sure to cover any soft or hard limits players may have during Session 0. This game features some violence, as D&D often does. Uniquely, this campaign DOES offer options for a pacifist playthrough. A Foundry VTT mod used on the server adds blood splatters during combat.

How will character creation work
Character creation can happen during or before session zero. A link to the campaign on D&D Beyond will be shared in advance of the game. Through this, you'll have access to a plethora of shared material to help create the character of your dreams. We're using the 2014 rules, rather than 2024 so please keep that in mind during character creation. When we sit down for session 0, we'll go over (or create) our characters, discuss any soft or hard boundaries in terms of campaign content, and get to know each other. This way we can truly hit the ground running at the start of the campaign. No advanced reading is needed beyond getting familiar with the rules of your chosen class/subclass.
