About the adventure

Your world is dying, poisoned by an unholy alliance between the evil gods Shar, Cyric and Talona. For several years the sun has grown darker and all plant life is poisoned and slowly perishing. But there is hope! Legend speaks of the Infinite Staircase hidden within the lost city of Cynidicea that crosses time and space. They say a great being dwells there that could reverse the devastation wrought by the evil deities. You set off into the Anauroch Desert from Daggerdale to find the Lost City and save Faerun!

About me

I have been DMing Dungeons and Dragons since the Holmes Basic Box set (a long time ago!) and have DMed every edition up to and including 5e and other RPGs such as Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green and Villains and Vigilantes. I enjoy all three pillars of RPGs (roleplay/combat/exploration) and have logged on more than 4k hours on Roll 20 as a DM running campaigns of all lengths. I really enjoy creating a story with the players. Now that I'm retired I have lots of free time to run games for new and experienced players in the form of One-Shots and Campaigns.

Safety

How DMFrank creates a safe table

Creativity and cooperation with other players is incentivized. The adventure allows a lot of choices on which quests will be taken, as well as how they will be solved, This is an inclusive game, where people from all backgrounds are welcome. There is zero tolerance for the intolerant. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all players, I use the following safety tools: - A safety checklist to ensure that all players are aware of potential triggers and sensitive topics - Session zero to discuss concerns and boundaries before the game begins - Open Door Policy - Breaks During Gameplay -X, N, O cards
