About the adventure
“In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, the realm has been bleeding. The continent of Westeros, the Seven Kingdoms, had been forged into one by Aegon I Targaryen; but the kingdoms had seen nothing but war and dragon fire since the Conqueror had been succeeded by Maegor the Cruel. The gods have smiled upon us, however; the king is dead. Long live the King – Jaehaerys of House Targaryen, the First of His Name! It has been four years since the king ascended to his throne, and the young monarch’s rise has proven it is possible for anyone to rise above or fall from grace. The players may have changed, but the game of thrones continues. Who shall you be at the dragon’s court? A knight of the Kingsguard? An ambitious social climber, steadily making your way to the top through peace, or through the ladder of chaos? Or perhaps are you going to be the head of a noble house, looking forward to furthering your family’s position? Whoever you are, this shall be your story.” "A Song of Ice and Fire: The Dragon's Court" is a game that takes place in the world of Ice and Fire, inspired by GRRM's books and the TV shows "Game of Thrones" and "House of the Dragon". This is a low-magic campaign, with heavier focus on political intrigue, drama and tragedies. The game takes place during a time when dragons are still alive, so it maintains a sense of wonder and magic during the early reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen. This is a game where your personal stories, roleplaying and narrative driven choices are prioritized over combat. If you are a fan of the books or the shows, you will definitely enjoy this game!
Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! Nice meeting you! I am a writer, translator, a storyteller and a budding content creator. I have been into tabletop games for three years and have been running games professionally for about the same time. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to World of Darkness games, especially Vampire: The Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, having run multiple games in these splats. In terms of D&D, it has been always a passion that I followed through one-shots and friend games, but I decided it was finally time to delve into the community and start running longer games. I'm well-versed in the system, and I dabbled in different settings within the multiverse. As a GM I'm generally a rule of cool guy who does his best to stick by the book for the most part, but I'll never stifle your fun - especially if you are about to do something absolutely rad. I'm your characters' #1 fan when you are at the table. If you have any questions before signing up to any one of my games, I'm always active on the website and would be more than happy to answer them! I hope you can find a game that you can enjoy on my profile. Looking forward to meeting you!

Creating your character
We will go over character creation during Session 0 together so we don't end up making an all Bard campaign without talking to each other first. Roll20 is where we will be storing our sheets, maps, and tokens. You are not expected to create your character sheets beforehand, but I expect you to give me a concept idea in your applications as to what kind of a character you are forming in your head, and once we establish everything, you will need to write me a brief but detailed backstory about the characters so I know them better and can micro adjust the campaign to include stuff you write in your characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎤 A decent microphone is a must. 🔊A Discord account (free to register). 🎲 Roll20 account (for the table and dice rolls. Also free to register). 📄 Detailed but brief backstory (1 to 3 pages should suffice). 🎓 Beginners are welcome; I will explain the rules and the system as we play, should need be. 📷 Cameras are optional, but highly encouraged, as I believe seeing each other enhances our roleplay.

How Onur Temel creates a safe table
As an avid reader of the series, I am well-aware of some of the heavy themes this world and the stories told in it deal with. I will make it clear right now that none of that excuses horrible behaviour; if you use the grim elements of the world as an excuse to treat people poorly or to just be a bad person / comically bad character, I will not let that fly. Any such themes can only be included with the entire table's consent, as well as after going through everyone's Lines and Veils during session 0. So; if you have a genuine love and passion towards the world GRRM has created, and would like to tell your own stories in it while deviating a little from the established canon at a respectful, kind and accepting table - you are more than welcome. Otherwise, this is not the right game for you. We will hold a Session 0 to go over all the content warnings, as well as all of the possible Lines and Veils with a detailed Consent Form you can fill, in order to create a safe, welcoming table. Everything is changeable and negotiable; all themes will be discussed and taken out of the game accordingly if any one of them stated below make you feel uncomfortable. I will send a consent form that you can fill online. We will also use Session 0 to establish the boundaries between the players, as well as the relationship of their characters and of course, decide on what kind of a story we want to tell in A Song of Ice and Fire. Before the start and after the end of every session we'll spend about 15 minutes at least to chat, talk about any potential issues, to go over what happened in the story to identify Bleed and to help you cope with it and leave it behind at the table! As far as X, N & O cards, you can simply message me during play with either of these letters in bold font and in caps, and I will appropriately handle the situation.
