About the adventure

🧚‍♀️Explore the strange Feywild 🐉Gather allies both fearsome and friendly 👑Recover what was stolen You were too young to realize what you were doing when they took it. The fey tricked you into giving up something prized, perhaps your favorite toy, your parents, or even your name. When you realized what had happened, you swore to get it back. Your journey has finally lead you to the Witchlight Carnival, rumored to have a connection to the Feywild itself. Within, will you bargain for a chance to recover what was lost? Or will you cut a path through these beautiful but eldritch beings, facing down with cold steel any who would stop your vengeance? This D&D campaign will take you from new 1st level adventurers into the mystical realm of the Feywild, a land of illusion, magic, and enchantment, seeking to right past wrongs. In this world, you may be able to solve many of your problems with a quick wit and clever words. Be careful what deals you make, since the fey do not take kindly to those who can't keep their word!

About me

Hi, I'm Daniel(they/them) and I've been playing and running RPGs ever since I found the Basic D&D set at 8 years old. Since then, I've run campaigns in every edition of D&D, Pathfinder 1e and 2e, Shadowrun, World of Darkness, FATE, and GURPS. I especially enjoy open-ended scenarios that allow players to find new and creative solutions to problems. I am a former math teacher and ran an after-school D&D club. I have spent a lot of time teaching new players and am excited to introduce you to the games I love, whether that means helping you find the most interesting ways to build a character, or doing the math so you don't have to! In particular, I am used to running games for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent players, and strive to make my games accessible to everyone.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters together at session zero. You're welcome to brainstorm ideas ahead of time, of course! Players joining the campaign after that can have a one-on-one to build their character with me if you need assistance! We are starting at level 1, using the standard point buy and Tasha's rules on ability scores.

The current party

We are about to start a new chapter, so now is the perfect time for a new player to join at level 5! The group currently has a rogue, a warlock, a druid, and a ranger.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need: Headphones and microphone capable of handling discord for our voice chat. If you use speakers, you will probably need to use push-to-talk to minimize feedback. A web browser capable of connecting to Foundry for our VTT. No downloads required!
