How to prepare

Please ensure that your mic is working in discord as this is a voice game. You will be given a primer or player's guide for the adventure that it is recommended you read first. It will cover some player character options and current events. You will also need a discord account and I will create your account on a hosted Foundry instance.

Gameplay details

Expect a creative and fun atmosphere. Jokes are encouraged, as is the occasional pun. Creativity in problem-solving is rewarded. And remember that at the end of the day the goal is to have fun. Combat is a large focus of Pathfinder 2e but I try to keep it fast paced and not drag things out. So get ready for a fair mix of exploration and encounters, with downtime and roleplay opportunities in the mix. The lines and veils / consent sheets are covered outside of game. But whilst in game I use a set of safety tools for Foundry where you can mark a red flag or needing to take a break.

How will character creation work

Pathbuilder is the best place to start building your character. It can then be imported directly. Alternatively you can create it in Foundry itself. If you chose to make a character outside of Foundry first you will need to login and have the character recreated there too for play. I can do that for you if I have the details in a PDF or viewable link Two variant rules are being used: Paragon Ancestry and Free Archetype. These grant you additional feats. You can choose from almost any common or uncommon ancestry. Some rare ancestries and heritages may also be available under discussion.
