Otari under the gauntlight - Abomination vault AP
Dive into the Abomination Vault, an immense structure filled with secret and horror alike, as you try to thwart an evil scheme decade in the making.
About the adventure
Welcome to Otari, a nice seaside town on the isle of Kortos, known for it's lumber, fish, and general tranquillity. This is unfortunately something that might not last much longer as about a half hour's walk north of Otari is a sprawling swamp called Fogfen. Gauntlight Keep lies within, an eerie landlocked lighthouse overgrown with moss and overrun with vermin; a lighthouse that, in the deep of the night, has begun to glow a baleful light. As such, the town local adventurer -you- will need to investigate it and make sure nothing threaten your hometown. This adventure path is the direct continuation of "Menace under Otari", the beginner box; knowledge of the beginner box is not necessary, as you will prepare to dive into the mysteries of the Abomination vaults. This campaign is a level 2 to 10 adventure, and is open to anyone regardless of their level of experience with Foundry, Pathfinder 2e or TTRPG in general so don't be shy. I don't bite ;) Time can be changed if asked, depending on availability.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Teacher
Sets the Mood
Knows the Rules
Sinach is a lot of fun to play with. Good knowledge of the rules so when you're trying to do something you can't he will offer suggestions for how you can accomplish exactly what you're trying to do. He also gives time for characters to react to what is going on around them. I am personally very happy with the overall pacing and tone of the roleplaying and gameplay.
Character creation
Creating your character
Groups presentation will occur first, then Line and Veils (if any) will be disclosed by each player, then game presentation will begin followed by character creation. For character creation, you will start at first level, with the following variant and options: -Ancestry paragon -Free archetype -Gradual attribute boosts Content from the book "beginner box/menace under Otari" and "Abomination Vault" are obviously allowed in character creation, but are not be required, they are simply there to increase your option.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic is highly recommended but not strictly necessary, unfortunately as the GM my hand are quite full while in the game and, if you only use chat messaging I cannot guarantee to always see your message the moment they are posted. Character creation and level up will be done in session, but you can prepare in advance. I allow full modification of one character on level up with a few exception: class, heritage and ancestries should be asked first since they are a major change. The ultimate goal is for you to have fun, and experimenting with ones character is a part of that and shouldn't be punished. If you know nothing about Pathfinder rule, I recommend looking at the Archives of Nethys website, specificaly the player's guide section. https://2e.aonprd.com/PlayersGuide.aspx No need to memorise it, but a quick read never hurt For access to Foundry you DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING, you will be given a link in or prior session 0, this link will allow you access the game server. On your end you only need a PC with access to internet. I repeat DO NOT BUY A LICENSE, that's only for GM need.
What Sinach brings to the table
Most of what I bring is the Foundry server, and the adventure path itself. Do note that we will be using the in-game Foundry sheet, but external sheet on wanderer's guide or pathbuilder are recommended (but not required) for actual game use. The foundry sheet will be found on the game server itself on thus will not be accessible outside of session, in contrast with external sheet system that are available at any.

How Sinach creates a safe table
Piss break are a given. Expect the first 5-10 min of a session to be used for going back into the game, reminding everyone of what happened last time. We shouldn't "hot" start a session. Beyond that session 0 is the best place to immediately warn each about Line and Veils, but those can be updated at any time during the game if need be.
