About the adventure

About me
I have been playing TTRPGs since the early 1980s. I have been running TTRPGs for over 30 years. I regularly run games at conventions throughout the west coast and have an extensive collection with which to run games for my players. I am knowledgeable and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all players, all skill levels, and all ages! I welcome new players and challenge veteran players to reach out and try something that they may not have played before. I am passionate about growing the gaming community, and put in a lot of effort to ensure that my players have fun, are challenged, and find that inner GM within themselves through being a part of my games. Creating your character
Character creation will take place during the free session zero. The campaign will start the players at level 10 and once the group finished a chapter they will advance to the next level. In the end of the campaign the group should be 20th level as they take on the final challenges. The approved source material is anything that is printed as official Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons and Dragons 5e material (ie. Players Handbook. Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, etc) as well as case by case Unearthed Arcana and D&D Beyond material approved and official from Wizards of the Coast.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players are expected to have a mic to be able to communicate with the group and DM. A knowledge of the class and its features of the character that each player wants to play for the entirety of the campaign (I don't recommend changing characters once the campaign starts) is veery helpful, but if you are new to the game do not let that make you hesitant in joining as we can accommodate and bring you up to speed very quickly. I as a DM expect players to be courteous of one another and myself in order to have a productive and exciting session. Come prepared to have a great time and engage in what is happening in the campaign.
What David brings to the table
I will have specific art and body casting for all NPCs and encourage PCs to do the same for their characters. As we go I am prepared to utilize VTT, Customer Maps, and Images based on the needs/desires of the group. What you can expect from me as a DM (I have been a DM for several decades) is to provide you with a challenging yet rewarding gaming experience. To push the group to work together as a team and to, at times, think outside of the box. I bring honesty, courtesy, laughter, and a thorough knowledge set of the campaign material as well as the rules without being rigid or harsh. This is a group setting and everyone has a voice at the table. No judgement or harsh language or rude behavior will be tolerated. Trust me when I say I can deliver what you are after in game. Some games are great but we will enjoy being great gamers!

How David creates a safe table
Session 0 will be a free session. It will give the group the chance to introduce themselves as well as intro of the DM. The Group will be able to create characters in a group setting to best make decisions on what is best suited for the group size. I will employ messaged X,N,&Os as I am committed on providing the most enjoyable, judgement free, accepting, and rewarding gaming experience to every one of the players.
