About the adventure
A flash of light changed the world. The great super city Kyh Serin has fallen and The Lich King Sirvosc has seized control. He must be stopped at all costs. Help the Arba family reestablish the trust and be the hero that the Fates have called you to be. Solve challenges, Help others, Power Up. Remove Sirvosc and build a better world than the one he destroyed. Party is currently level 5. We have 1 Berserker Barbarian/Fighter, 1 Blade Singer, 1 Oath of Vengeance Paladin. This campaign has a serious storyline with a very light hearted and humorous group. When we aren't laughing over crude humor we are deep in combat or puzzles as we roleplay through the storyline. Our group is beginner friendly so you will progress at a pace that gets you comfortable with your character and its abilities. If you have a chill go with the flow attitude and love bodily jokes as you play, we just might have a seat for you! About me
Hey I'm defenderDan, Husband, Dad, Supernerd, and voice actor. My Addiction to Dungeons and Dragons and storytelling came to me one day as I was watching one of the first campaigns I had sat through and the Dungeon Master's character asked, "Why does it matter to people so much that my fur is brown? Why does it matter that I wasn't born like most of you?" and one of the players answered and said something along the lines of "You know some people can't get past those details but really what matters the most is that you are happy with you. People will always have an opinion about you but that shouldn't make you think any less of yourself." And from that moment I was done in because these weren't just stories and these weren't just games. These were people experiencing things very differently than what we are used to but we can still learn life lessons from those difficult situations. My addiction is bad and in the most beautiful way. I spend faaaaaar too much time thinking about stories, worlds, and characters. The choices they could make, the consequences there of, and what can be experienced to get to where they want to be. So come on and lets experience a whole new life together!

DefenderDan (Dan) takes DMing seriously. He loves to build the worlds we explore and is open-minded about character building. He thinks about every character in the story and the character arcs they will experience. Dan helps individuals learn the game or expand experienced players' skills. While we are learning he is taking our ideas for our characters and helping them come alive. D&D nights with Dan are always interesting and the stress relief needed. It's always the best part of my week.

This was my first time meeting DefenderDan, and I can say the experience is worth it. The connection with DefenderDan, as a GM, is comfortable, like a friend. You can tell he enjoys the story, and he is not just trying to destroy all players. He wants you to succeed in your quest, but he will not make it easy for you. If you want an adventure, tailor-made (within reason), I would say to give DefenderDan a try. I mean what's the worst that can happen... You may have fun?

I never played DnD before, and the first time I ever played I had a ton of fun. My first session my character (half orc that grew up in the woods) made it to town, and basically got a bath. I have never laughed so hard or so much the whole time in my life.

This GM is someone who wants to build a story that isn't just surface level things. You can feel as though you are getting your characters story built well whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player. He values criticism to help make his games more enjoyable, will always respect boundaries and if you have triggers to avoid them. I appreciate the attention to the little details that come into play 5, or 10 sessions later!!!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Come with Dnd Beyond and discord at the minimum. A solid Microphone and headset are needed and preferably a decent internet connection and a quiet environment as a courtesy to others.
What defenderDan001 brings to the table
Discord server with Roles and voice chats that are available for use 24/7. Foundry VTT access for all players Character voices. Improv is life so come and develop a story. Rule of cool and shenanigans are welcome. Logic or roleplay may get you to do the cool things! I have characters already made if you don't want to make one yourself. Whether you bring your own character or use on of mine, I will custom build story arcs revolving your characters.
