About the adventure

System: Pokémon Wild Type The games will be ran in a strict Play By Post format without the use of Voice. But, being in a VC incase there are questions, or for simple bonding is preferred. Mostly on Discord. I will also gladly guide people through character creation if they are having any troubles. Do you have what it takes to join the Pokémon Rescue Team? Based in an original region where all mons are found, with the exception of legendaries and mythicals of course. Comes the heroes of justice! The Rescue Teams! Known as the beacon of hope to many mons, from saving Pokémon stuck in caves and dungeons. To performing more trivial tasks... sometimes saving the world all together! Raise a Guild from the bottom, to the most notorious and famous one with the Guild System. Watch as it grows with your progress. Until you inevitably defeat quite possibly even gods! Which of course you did not sign up for. Discover the myths and legends of the lands, traverse all sorts of biomes. Remember, There's no I in Team! This is how you'll forge your team's story. This is how every mon will remember you by. Go out there and change the world!

About me

Hello! I'm Ariel. I've been GMing games for well over 9 years and running. Though, I haven't really started really investing myself in it until I've become cursed with the deadly Forever GM curse for my starting group. I've grown to have a lot of fun running games, stories, and prioritizing the rule of fun over the Rules as written approach. Whacky and Crazy ideas are always allowed to be attempted. I do not discriminate people for coming from different fandoms and accept them all equally. Be it Brony, Furry, scaley, Anime. Though I do advise not actively talking about them if some people are not comfortable with it. I started as a Roleplayer and specialize mostly in Text games. As I lack the ability's to put on a good show, but I try to make up for it with detailed/descriptive writing. I'm not perfect, or the best. But, I do immerse myself in the story and trying to make sure everyone is involved and occupied. While shining the spotlight at least once on every member of the party throughout the game and campaign.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be handled by the players themselves. Unless in need of assistance. They will start at level 4, and will have to be the base form of their desired mon. Pokemon may only have one held item on them, the rest will be treated as cosmetics if they wear or hold more than one. Characters are meant to have a motivation for having wanted to join the Rescue Team. They will be receiving a letter of acceptance at the start of the campaign to go receive their scarfs.

The current party

Ongoing campaign currently 4 players, looking for fifth. Message me with your discord username if wish to join and be added to server.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Nothing is needed apart from the character sheet and character token to use. A microphone isn't mandatory, but it is preferred for when everyone gathers together on Discord. Sending me your Discord name will be required. A roll20 Account as well.

Safety

How Ariel creates a safe table

Players should keep things friendly to the nature of the games. No deaths will occur, nor will any sort of graphical violence be used outside of what is seen in the games or anime. Combat can be avoided for the most part, or dealt with quicker with some coordination in the players actions with each other via the use of teamwork. Example: Player A coats an enemy in water and then Player B follows up with an Electric type attack. As well as using the scenery and surroundings to their advantage.
