What I provide

I host a server for our game with Foundry through the Forge, so you'll have a steady and reliable connection. I pride myself on ensuring the NPCs are fleshed out and that they are a joy to interact with (even ones players love to hate!). I also use Syrinscape for the perfect ambient music during sessions. You can use my library of Kobold Press and other homebrew books to build your character or import a sheet directly from DnD Beyond (I am happy to assist you if needed). I tend to bend the rules in favor of the players or a great story, so Rule of Cool has been my best friend in my decade of running games. I can't wait to play with you!

Gameplay details

I will send the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to players before the session and discuss it with them. Players can message me anytime before or during the game; I have a completely open door. X, N, and O can be sent to me as single characters in a Discord DM at any time— players never need to elaborate on their reasoning if they do not wish to or can follow up with me later. Their comfort is always paramount. During intense moments, I always step back to check in on players. If a character is feeling a strong emotion (be it anger, sadness, etc.), it's essential to ensure no one is in pain. We're here to roleplay these feelings but not hurt ourselves! After sessions, I also ask for Stars and Wishes as a form of affirmation Aftercare.

How will character creation work

During Session 0, we'll create characters at Level 1 using Point Buy or Standard Array. However, Session 1 will begin at Level 0, and all of you will be exploring the carnival as children! During your first visit to the carnival, your life is irrevocably changed. You can access any official WoTC material and any of my third-party books. I will also ask you to prepare rumors (a mix of true and false) for your fellow PCs and NPCs to hear about your character.
