About the adventure
Two oceanside villages, Osprey Cove and Iron Harbor, have co-existed peacefully with an undercurrent of distrust for generations. This fragile truce is close to breaking as outside forces that the original founders had fled from, begin to bear down. A mysterious stranger in the night, a forgotten set of ruins, and the reawakening of a lost empire all push the denizens of these villages into a long dormant conflict. One thing is certain, that without action the coast of Chakikoth Isle will forever be changed. What will you do? Hasten or hinder, rise or surrender, gather your courage and uncover the secrets of...Rusthenge. This adventure is standalone and designed to take adventurers from level 1 to 3 in the primer adventure Rusthenge and then continuing past that to level 11 and beyond! Beginners and veterans are both welcome. We will also be utilizing the brand new Mythic Rules! 🏫To learn the PF2e system from the ground up! 🧙🏽♂️ A classic journey with that special Paizo spice sprinkled on top ☠️Unique monsters and NPCs with combat, exploration and for those that use their words as weapons...diplomancy 🎶Music, ambience and sound effects to make things that go bump in the night 📺Forge VTT with wonderful maps, custom tokens, spell effects and the entire game system built-in 🎭A wide range of custom characters with little to no restriction! Want to play a magical raccoon with big guns? Go for it. How about a teenage girl empowered by the constellations that transforms into her alter-ego under stress? Got it. If you can dream it, we can most likely build it! 🗡️And let's not forget riveting tactical combat where those juicy Nat 20's feel "oh so good"
Limited Free Archetype will be allowed as we will be using the brand new Mythic Ruleset! The specifics and any limitations will be discussed when you do your one-on-one session 0 with me. The group consists of a monk, fighter and thaumaturge so far! With 25 classes to choose from (27 if you count the Guardian and Commander) you can be the perfect fit to round out the group! This campaign is beginner friendly but knowledge of base aspects of the system will make the experience better for all involved. I will provide a beginner cheat sheet in my preparation materials.

How to prepare
Links to Foundry VTT and a Discord will be provided prior to Session 0. Having accounts and some familiarity with these programs/websites will be helpful. All players at a minimum will require voice comms and internet/computer access for Foundry Vtt. Voice comms should be of relatively good quality with minimal background interference to make it easy for everyone to hear and understand. Webcams are not required though I will utilize mine. Finally, this being a campaign, for continuity sake I expect a 75% minimal attendance rate. I am understanding of emergencies and life events and if someone may need to step away for an extended amount of time. That said, if I notice lax attendance I am willing to have a chat and see if there are any issues that I can assist with or accommodations that can be made. Random no shows without warning are inconsiderate for the group as a whole and make crafting a narrative and group dynamics much more difficult to contend with. As in all aspects of life, communication is key and a small amount of communication can save a lot of headaches for everyone.
What I provide
🎲VTT utilizing the Rusthenge module with some custom maps/tokens/assets as required. I have a curated list of modules I've been using to enhance the experience on either side of the table. 🎙️I will be doing character voices (badly at times) there will be ambient music for those interested along with some interesting spell/combat effects. 🆒 Rule of cool is always on the table and with my experience with the system we can usually work it in. But, sometimes cool things are really hard to accomplish and sometimes untenable for the situation. I always make things explicit and will be clear with rulings 👊 No punches will be pulled in combat. Good planning and teamwork is rewarded via victory and minimizing risk. Gung-ho Rambo-esque "watch this, hold my drink" is always fun but comes with risks, so be warned.
Gameplay details
We will be utilizing Session 0 as a "vibe check" and also to lay out some grounds rules and expectations collaboratively for everyone involved. I have an open door policy where if anyone becomes uncomfortable they merely need to private message me and corrective actions will be taken. Finally, breaks will be scheduled but also taken as requested and a debriefing performed at end of session if I feel there are any concerns to be addressed.

How will character creation work
🆓We have already had our session zero for character creation but if you join we can have a one-on-one to get you up to speed and your character squared away! All published Paizo assets (minus other adventure paths) are available for use. I do not utilize 3rd party content but if a player wishes to I am willing to entertain the notion but the reasoning must be sound and convincing. Player Core 1 and 2 are both released with updates to the classes within those texts, along with the classes from: Secrets of Magic, Guns and Gears, Dark Archives and Rage of Elements. When War of Immortals hits shelves the Exemplar and Animist will also be available for play. If anyone wishes to use the playtest versions of the Commander or Guardian that can be accommodated but any tweaks to their current versions will not be guaranteed.
