About the adventure

Wanted! Reward for the capture of the pictured individual. Speak with Deputy Shieldmarshal Loveless to collect your reward. The day you saw this poster bearing your face was the day everything changed. You have been accused of crimes you may or may not have committed, but you have been given a chance to get back at the person responsible. Foebe Dunsmith, proprietor of the Bullet & Barrel saloon has a plan to hit them where it hurts and has gathered some like-minded people who have interest in liberating some finances in a creative way. You’re going to rob them. Outlaws of Alkenstar is a level 1-7 adventure path, with a good mix of combat and adventure!

About me

Hi there, I'm Chris, but I'm often better by my username, yousodumb. With more than 15 years of experience in playing TTRPGs, I have successfully led over five games to completion. My expertise spans from homebrew to modules, and everything in between. What sets me apart is my ability to balance narrative and mechanical play, seamlessly mixing detailed narration with mechanical challenges. I have extensive knowledge of Pathfinder First Edition and Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition, as well as competence in various other systems, including Pathfinder Second Edition. Additionally, I'm passionate about out-of-game puzzles, such as cyphers and codes, which I love to incorporate into my games to challenge and engage players. **Note for direct messages and last minute signups**: my job is very strict about phone usage, and I might not see your message until about 30 minutes before one of my scheduled games.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen as part of session Zero. Rare options require my explicit approval and uncommon options I'll need to be aware of, consider all content from guns and gears as well as the player's guide to the AP to be pre-approved. We'll be using free archetype since it's fun. We'll discuss to prospect of mana storms and magic in Alkenstar as part of session zero. Note: while I won't go out of my way to kill player characters, it is a distinct possibility that your character may die especially at lower levels.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A vague character concept should be made by session zero with at least one backup for balance sake. A functional microphone, discord account, and ability to access the foundry server are required. I highly recommend everyone to read the player's guide and familiarize themselves with options available in the guns and gears supplement. A rough character level plan to level 11 should be considered but not required.

What Yousodumb brings to the table

The foundry server will be provided and maintained by me, we will be using the official modules and a few selected premium and free modules to enhance the experience. I will be providing appropriate voices to characters and work to involve your character’s unique history into the upcoming events.
