About the adventure
There's a rumor spreading in the coast city of Baldur's Gate. Folks are saying the holy city of Elturel has vanished, leaving nothing but a crater where it used to be. You've heard rumors before though. There's no way something that wild could happen, not while The Light of the Companion is protecting the holy city. At least, that's what you thought at first... Recently, refugees have been arriving at Baldur's Gate. They claim to be from the outskirts of the crater formerly known as Elturel. As the days pass by, more and more arrive. Eventually, with no more room to house the needy, the gates of the Baldur are closed. As a licensed adventurer you know it's only a matter of time before your services will be required to help the strained town guard. But helping guards isn't that bad. It's not like you're going to hell and back... right?
