About the adventure
A tavern floating in space? Alcohol-powered portals? A new monster-hunting guild promising wealth and glory across the realms? A sneaky trash panda blacksmith? My friend, you stumbled on a strange place to apply to be a hunter! It's a rough and deadly job with natural hazards and legendary beasts and bounties on the loose! But you and your fellow guild members have the tools and the talent to survive, right? Enter many strange realms and biomes as you track unique monsters for each contract. Gather materials and harvest your prey for ingredients you can use to make a variety of personalized magic items, meals, and companions. Use your creations to become stronger and rise to the top as a master hunter! Will you answer the call? Don't forget to have a drink and bring your barbecue grill!

About me
I'm just your average 30-something guy living out in the sticks with a love of stories and adventure. Whether you're looking to use new rules for your D&D games, learning to play tabletop RPGs, or just looking for a late-night one-shot, my services are open to run your sessions and roll some dice with friends and strangers alike! Ever since a friend let me read a 3rd Edition Monster Manual at summer camp, I've been captivated by D&D lore. I decided to share this passion by starting my own games, gathering friends and family to play with starter kits. Over time, I've explored settings like the Mists of Ravenloft and the Islands of Kozakura, learning from the characters and stories they presented. After years of experience, I am now here to help you bring your tale to life! I am curious about what you will bring to the table, and I will be more than happy to guide you into the world of TTRPGs! I offer a variety of discounts to players who purchase my services. These include "Half-Off Holidays", "BOGOHO Buddies", and "DnDate Nights". Check with me to qualify. Update: Now offering FREE first sessions!

Creating your character
Here are some guidelines for character creation: - You can use the character creator feature to simplify building your adventurer or start from scratch. - Stats will be determined by the standard array or rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest die. - For newer players, I will assist in any way I can help in character building and understanding mechanics. - You can use the rules provided in the Roll20 compendium. However, you can inquire about using other references that can be edited into your sheet as well. - If you want to jump in without all the complicated steps of making a character, Roll20 provides several premade ones you can select to start playing! I may also provide additional ones when necessary.
Current party: - Louis Normandie (corvum 2024 bard/ undead legacy warlock) - DOK (mycelian kenku alchemist artificer) - Frank (gnome legacy barbarian) We'll be using milestones for leveling and the current level is 7. Louis and Frank are currently experiencing scheduling issues, so we're seeking additional members to cover their absence.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need: - A working microphone. - A Discord account for the server. - A Roll20 account to access the table. Optional: - Beyond20 extension to use D&D Beyond sheets. - Any other content you want to bring to the table.
What Curtis brings to the table
- A private Discord server for players to chat and make posts. - A Roll20 pro account that allows the use of the compendium, dynamic lighting on maps, and the new Jumpgate features to improve the flow of gameplay. - Both the old and updated rules for 5e. - "Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting" and "L'Arsene's Ledger of Treasures and Trinkets" by Max Wartelle, João Araújo, Mage Armoire, Tony Casper, Kevin “Smood” McDonnell, Jethro Mellors, and Duncan Watson. - Additional books and PDFs that can be used as references. - Maps made from various sources, including Inkarnate, DungeonFog, and CzePeku.
Homebrew rules
The new weapons in the sourcebook will also have new weapon mastery properties. Here's a list of them: Claws: Nick Nunchucks: Sap Slingshot: Sap Tetherhook: Slow Twinblades: Graze Magitech firearms and tommybows keep the same weapon mastery properties as their regular firearm and crossbow counterparts. ----------------------- As an action, you can throw a potion of healing at a point up to 60 feet away, where the bottle smashes and spills its contents. Each creature in a 5-foot-radius Sphere centered on that point is healed as if they drank the potion. ----------------------- You can use heroic inspiration to draw from the inspiration deck and gain an additional effect in combat.

How Curtis creates a safe table
I will provide a document for any table rules that must be covered. This is an open-door campaign, so players can come and go as required. Please inform me in advance if you won't attend a session or need to leave early. I also have the table open for stars and wishes for comments on what works and what needs to be improved for future sessions. I'm always looking for ways to make sure my players are enjoying their time at the table. Players who disrespect these rules receive two warnings, after which the offender will be removed.
