Against The Feral Crown | Custom Campaign/Setting
Track a mysterious criminal guild known as The Feral Crown. You'll need wits over force to combat this organization and the creatures they control.
About the adventure
Campaign In this campaign, you will embark on a mission to eliminate The Feral Crown - a powerful criminal guild wielding vast wealth, influence, and exotic beasts throughout the Kingdom. Beginning with only a few clues in the first session, every decision thereafter is yours. You'll explore a rich homebrew world, each location offering distinct cultures and opportunities as you work to dismantle the guild's operations. The Feral Crown operates in secrecy, existing in rumor, as mysterious as the creatures they command. This journey demands cunning over combat - from seedy taverns to noble manors, you must gather intelligence, forge alliances, and unravel their network. With overwhelming odds, you must outthink your adversaries. How will you and your friends root out this threat and restore peace in the kingdom? _______________________________________________________________________ Tone and Style Get ready to take down a criminal empire - with style, flair, and maybe a dash of chaos! While the stakes are high, this campaign embraces creative solutions and character shenanigans. This isn't about kicking down doors with swords drawn (though that might happen), it's about clever plans and unconventional approaches where your unique talents shine. Just remember - even the best-laid plans can go comically wrong! _______________________________________________________________________ Setting Welcome to Sigrid's Legacy, a land where ancient magic flows through newly awakened ley lines, and diverse cultures live in an uneasy peace. This continent was discovered by dwarves fleeing famine over three millennia ago. Today, in the year 3124, the recently unified Eastern Kingdom faces rising tensions as the first Queen struggles to maintain order. From the gleaming towers of Eldoria to the storm-battered shores of Seawatch, from the artistic haven of Arcadia to the industrial might of Ironhold, each city tells its own story. In this time of arcane renaissance, the discovery of new magical ley lines has attracted scholars and mages from across the realm - but it has also drawn darker elements seeking to exploit this power for their own ends. _______________________________________________________________________ Join Step into the shadows and end The Feral Crown's reign.

Storytelling
From my perspective of a heavy roleplayer, Sov is a great and fantastic DM who values setting a beautiful scene and allowing people to sink into it as far as they wish. He rarely stumbles and often flourishes in the chaos of the moment, offering both fun and somber moments with expert poise. Gentle and kind, he is often very fair. All persons are welcome into his table, so long as they are polite and respectful! Combat is kept simple so it doesn't bog down. (For those similar to me who do not enjoy it as much) Still, it does happen. And to dramatic effect! Albeit less emphasized, his ability to weave a perilous combat is regardless quite effective. A large mixture of theatre of the mind and plain board layout. Though, with his narrative skill, any encounter is still quite fun and often a playground for more storytelling from both sides. Sov also genuinely takes the time to incorporate player choice and their backgrounds into the narrative with surprising and satisfying revelations. Each week I am greeted with a deeply rewarding experience, leaving me pining for the next session.
Oh my Gods, Sov is an amazing DM!!! My wife and I, Gen X TTRPG kids, play in the 'Two to Tango' game and we affectionately call it 'Couples Therapy'. And, let me tell you, no more would you frown upon going to therapy if it was this much fun! So, in an intro that was supposed to be a narrative description of a simple ocean crossing, has turned into a thing all of its own. As players, being naturally curious, especially given our respective Classes, we started asking simple questions like, 'What do they look like? How are they holding themselves? Do I see any shinys worth attention?'. Well, what was supposed to be a 15-minute intro has turned into Fox's 24... 'THE FOLLOWING EVENTS TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 10:00am AND 11:00aM ABOARD THE SAILING VESSEL 'XXX XXXXXXXXXXX'. ALL EVENTS OCCUTR IN REAL TIME.' It's been four months and we are on day two. Sov leaned into our play style provided challenges at every decision, effortlessly crafting NPC's to interact with on a whim chance, creating narratives beneath narratives so that we've been so immersed in just the damn boat and the people we stole our tickets from, that I can't WAIT to see what he actually prepared! Provided we don't die. Anyway, I highly encourage you to enlist him as your Game Master and don't be afraid to be creative! Ask him to dazzle you with a One-Shot (or Three Shot 🤣) or throw out an idea for a Campaign Setting you've always wanted to do, but never had a GM with a skill level to pull it off. In the end, he's definitely worth 5 out of 5.
Character creation
Creating your character
Part of session 0 will be character creation. The party will have an open discussion about its needs and wants. This method will allow, but not require, the creation of bonds, alliances, and a balanced team appropriate for the campaign. If the party wishes to be a bunch of mismatched misfits, that is totally fine too. Character creation will be through dndbeyond.com. I will send a link to the campaign, where characters can enjoy all the digital content I have purchased.
We can schedule a session 0 when ever we are both available. Feel free to ask me any questions pre/post joining.
