About the adventure

About me
My name is Katabri. I have been playing TTRPGs since 1980. I did take a break to raise my kids, but kept up with material. When I came back to Dungeons and Dragons, it quickly became apparent that the easiest way to play in a game was to run it myself. So, I've been DMing for about 15 hours per week since January of 2023. I enjoy running DnD 5e and Pathfinder 2e games and endeavor to bring a fun and immersive experience for all my players.

Creating your character
🧨We will work through character creation during Session 0, as well as going over safety protocols and house rules. 🧨You will use DnD Beyond to create your level 1 character. I will walk you through it. 🧨We will use information from the official books and a few others to create your characters. 🧨Feel free to come to Session 0 with a character concept that you can (or not) change as you speak with the other players at the table. 🧨Free feat at character creation.
Party consists of Kender Circle of the Shepherd Druid, Human Knight of Solamnia Fighter, and Dwarf Rogue/Druid. They are currently at level 4, and in Kalaman. This is a perfect time to join!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a computer able to run Foundry and a reasonable headset and mic. We will use a private Discord Server for voice communication. A DnD Beyond account (free) will be used to create your character during Session 0. The only other account you should need is an account on The Forge to access our Foundry server. The last thing you need is your excitement to learn and play the game! I'm here to help and am excited to create your story with you!
What DM Katabri | The Benevolent DM brings to the table
💥I will be running the game off a FoundryVTT server hosted by The Forge. The game created in FoundryVTT with maps, music, etc. I will create tokens for each character, using art provided to me. 🎤We will use a private Discord Server for voice communication. ✨I bring a positive attitude and sense of fun to each session.

How DM Katabri | The Benevolent DM creates a safe table
At Session 0, we will discuss boundaries for each player and the GM. The Monte Cook pdf will be available for everyone to fill out and return to the GM, and the master will be available to the entire group. There is an X-card in Foundary, should anyone begin to feel uncomfortable. It is anonymous, and play will be immediately stopped and the situation addressed. For the last 10 minutes of each session, we will make sure that everyone is in a good place mentally and evaluate the session. A 10 minute break will be given mid-session for everyone to get up, move around, get drinks, etc.
