About the adventure
"Gentleman Gaelin Gust Wagers to Travel the Whole of the Household in Just 72 Days!" The morning post catches your ears before your eyes; the title read by the Newsie just before you hand him your bit of coin. "The well-to-do Sylph, Gaelin Gust has made a wager with his peers in which he and his attache will travel the Household in record time!" Oh, the wealthy and their gauche games... "Having already embarked on his trek, Gust's first stop after leaving the Dining Hall is Downridge." Come one, come all! Well...four or five, maybe. In this Household campaign, you (the players) will take the parts of our protagonists, the exciting Littlings lucky enough to be accompanying the eccentric Mr. Gust on his trip. I will be your guide, your friend, your enemy, and that little earwig that you encountered last session but haven't really figured out where it disappeared to quite yet! One thing will be for certain...your crew will rarely know what hit them! Mysteries! Sneak attacks!! Lots...I mean LOTS of spiders!! Inappropriate amounts of mead and mushroom beer!!! Join in and bring your own, unique brand of humble (at least slightly) fun Around the Household!! The atmosphere and art will not be an homage to classic literature but also to Saturday Morning cartoons!

Meet the Game Master
About me
One score and ten years ago, I set upon the life changing adventure that is TTRPGs! Even as a new player, the urge to tell a good story often overpowered my better judgement and I found myself begging the DM for more drama! It wouldn’t be too long before I tried my hand at GMing myself and was absolutely horrible… It would take a few campaigns before I understood the right ingredients for a good stew of adventure, but then it became difficult to find an occasion in which I could again play myself; everyone wanted me to GM! Now I’ve come to respect roleplaying games as an awareness and social preparedness tool and actually setup an intro into TTRPGs curriculum. Much like the actor Chris Pine recently expressed, I feel that TTRPGs would be a beneficial addition to schooling. However, I am here and available for a good story! Feel free to reach out with questions, including date/ time negotiations. I always have a few rules: You’ll get as much out of it as you put in! Feel free to be as cheesy as you like but expect the same in turn. Do not feel ashamed to run!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Currently the only prerequisites on character creation are: stick to first party, official rules Session 0 will be used to discuss desires on role in the party as well as other factors that may cause "stepping on toes". After Session 0, any decisions left can be finished before the first play Session and characters are welcome to be kept secret until then and introduced. If Session 0 runs smoothly enough that we are given the chance to play? That option will definitely be available.
Two Little Mice's Household is an easy to learn, simplistic, RP and fantasy heavy TTRPG in the vein of the Borrowers and The Littles in which various small beings inhabit an "abandoned" house. Each player will be creating and playing a Littling of the Household with no requirements on origin. Gaelin will have a servant, and this servant can be one (or more) of the players or it will be an NPC as well. While Gaelin will be an integral NPC, he will in no way steal the thunder of the Players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For the sake of accommodation, the only necessity in communication would be a Discord account and microphone. Having the availability to log into Foundry would be ideal, but others can manage the Virtual Table Top for those who cannot. We would still need a means of communication, however, to do so; Hence Discord and microphone. Cameras are all optional. We can discuss streaming. It is available on the GM's end. Characters are expected to be complete upon their introduction. This is to say: stats, equipment, skills, and features are all chosen. At least a small introduction on personality and origin would be ideal.
What Daxula brings to the table
Many digital tabletop resources have been created based on this campaign and are available on my Patreon! www.patreon.com/c/daxula Discord channels are already present as well as The Foundry VTT. All books can be provided in digital format. The campaign is self-written, inspired by Verne, Wells, Kipling, etc., in the world created by Two Little Mice. And you will get out of the campaign what you put in. Meaning, the more grandiose your character's backstory (or actions), the more implications there will be for them; for you. I've been known to do character voices, yes. But also to dramatically describe encounters. Others are encouraged to act how they feel comfortable, but be accepting of others opinions, beliefs, etc. Just like in an adventuring party. The temperament of said campaign will be jocular, action packed, intrigue ridden, moral dilemma heavy, and also serious as times. Think James Gunn films. Role-play will be more important than the numbers. I'm sure there will be grand encounters ruined by your outsmarting me, chaotic side effects to bad rolls or decisions on each of our parts, and tears for fallen party members. Bonus is always given for exemplary role-playing as well as brilliant ideas. But... at the end of the day (session), what will matter is you being true to you. I mean...not you. "Your character." And we'll be us. Except that I'll be everyone, really. And the other party members matter too. But other than all that, it's all about you! Disclaimer: You'll notice the large list of content. This is in no way a celebration of those included, negative and amoral contents. It is instead the possibility of the characters encountering said lack of morality in what the GM deems "flawed characters" in the world. You choose what your character considers "flawed" and will hopefully deal with such encounters accordingly; which is how they will be meant. The GM in no way deems any compassionless action or attitude as appropriate.
