About the adventure
Learn to play Vampire the Masquerade 5e! It's been three nights since... whatever the hell happened. You remember pleasure, two sharp points sinking into your neck, and then... hunger, hunger like you've never known before. Now you aren't exactly sure what's going on, but you're determined to find out. The hunger... it boils up within you like a snarling beast. You're always yearning for... you don't like to think about it. But between the thirst for blood, the fact that your roommate said you looked dead and slept all day, and the fact that a sunbeam SET YOUR ARM ON FIRE, you're beginning to figure out what you've been turned into. What you're becoming. Vampire. Creature of the night. Predator. Can you be these things and also hold onto your humanity? You're going to have to find out, and you're going to have to find out fast. You've managed to locate some other people in your position- bitten, scared, hungry- and it's time to hit the streets of your city and figure out what the world is like when you're one of the creatures that bumps in the night. And it's time to feed. Always time to feed...

How to prepare
Players will need a microphone, a PC capable of running Discord (free account) and Alchemy VTT (free account). Both of these programs require very little in the way of hardware, so if you have a PC you're likely good to go. I'm designing this small campaign to need no prior experience, but if players want to support the official release they can pick up the PDF for the game at Drivethrurpg.com. If people sign up with enough time in advance and want to make their own character I would be happy to guide them through character creation, but I will be creating several pregenerated characters as well. If players are enjoying the characters and the story this may expand to a longer campaign.
What I provide
We will be using Alchemy VTT for the event, which has access to the full VtM5e core rulebook. I will use immersive soundscapes to give you the feeling that you really are a vampire hunting in the darkness of a city at night. Combat is simple to learn and generally follows the rule of cool- I want my players to feel free to be creative, even in the depths of mortal combat.
Gameplay details
Before session- Open door to discuss themes, triggers and scenes. Players will fill out Monte Cook's Consent Checklist. During session- We will begin by laying down ground rules and discussing lines (hard boundaries) and veils (softer boundaries). Players can signal me using DM's that a scene crosses a boundary.

How will character creation work
If a player is confident or excited to make their own vampire character I would be happy to guide them, but I will have several pregenerated characters for players who just want to sit down and play.
