About the adventure

The goblin’s blade slices your leg. Blood pours from the wound—red and thick—puddling around your boot. The goblin grins, licks your blood from his rusty blade. Sword in one hand, shield in the other, you clang them together—again and again. Pumping yourself up. Your allies respond, each one yelling. Screaming. You charge. Two swings of your sword. Two goblins fall dead at your feet. The ally on your right presses the stock of her crossbow into her shoulder. Squeezes the trigger. The bolt flies from her weapon, thunking deep into the goblin’s brow. The ally on your left slaps her hands together, murmuring an incantation. A violent surge of lightning shoots from her fingertips, zig-zagging through the chests of three more goblins. All explode on impact. Looking past everything, high above the battle, you see the mind flayer—pointing at you. His mouth tentacles quiver in anticipation of touching your mind… What do you do? Welcome to Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk — a thrilling Dungeons and Dragons campaign set on the Sword Coast! Heroes will embark on a dangerous journey, uncovering a deadly plot to bring an otherwordly terror to Phandalin. You’ll fight monsters, explore dungeons, and interact with people while attempting to save all of Toril from this deadly threat. Characters will begin and level 1 and reach level 12 by campaign’s end.
