About the adventure

Welcome adventurers, not going to lie, times are troubling! The evil god Vecna has put into motion a plan to destroy the multiverse. In response, the three greatest wizards from across existence have combined their magical might to cast their most powerful spell, you. Travel across time and space to undue the harm of Vecna and his allies while collecting artifacts that will combine into a legendary item said to vanquish this villain forever! This game is a fun exploration and wrap up of all the stories that have been told over the last 10 years in Dungeons & Dragons. Think of it as playing a little bit of all of them all rolled into one massive storyline. Expect to tell a story full of laughs.

About me

Hello! My name is Mxlpxl. I have been playing tabletop roleplaying games for over 11 years now and have found that I am extremely passionate when it comes to curating these experiences for people. My favorite thing to do is have people interact with a world and have it move and change with their actions while still being able to poke fun at ourselves. My experience in running tabletop roleplaying games are equal parts with adults and it has been for kids. Having to switch gears to a public school teacher in NYC, I've had the amazing opportunity to bring Tabletop Roleplaying games to classrooms across the five boroughs. For many of us, this is a fun way to spend our time being creative and hanging out with our friends. To my enrichment, it has also expanded my toolkit in the classroom to teach skills like reading, writing, arithmetic, socialization, and social emotional learning under the guise of fantasy roleplaying. Academic and social skills which are severely lacking in this fast paced digital world. During the Summer I enjoy running games at conventions, my favorite one being Gencon in Indianapolis and NYComicon at home. Even though these one shots are often short lived, it is so important to me that their first game is a memorable experience. (so many horror stories of bad experiences from people I've met over the years) It is my sincere belief that TTRPGs are a low stakes vehicle to access a healthy part of the human experience. An opportunity to hang out with friends, meet new people, have an even stage to pretend like an adult in a safe space, creatively use tools to solve problems, and just tell an awesome story. Everyone needs these things, and somehow TTRPGs wrap it all up in a single experience.

Character creation

Creating your character

Stats are point buy. Level 15 as of 8/7/2025. Free feat and very rare magical item. Feel free to use D&D Beyond or create your character in Roll20 as I have all of the resources. I will also need art for your avatar. Heroforge is a great resource. So is playmultiverse. As soon as it's done send it to me as a DM on discord and I can make it a token.

The current party

Currently have a fighter, barbarian/druid, and a cleric/fighter. Level 16

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Things you will need to have fun in this game: A computer with a stable internet. (tablets/phones are possible but it is less fun) Roll20 account (this is a web browser application and does not require downloads or costs) Discord (you may wish to download the program or run Discord through a web browser but you will need a Discord Account. Again, free) Microphone is a must, cameras are not but highly encouraged. (cameras not only help build community but are a great safety tool if someone is feeling uncomfortable but not sure how to verbalize it)

What Mxlpxl brings to the table

We will be using the Virtual Tabletop Roll20 where pictures, maps, tokens, information will be displayed. It takes the weight off your imaginations shoulders! Fully integrated with D&D Beyond so if you like to make characters there it will present all of your rolls in Roll20! As a game master my intention of every session is to have a mix of immersion in the world balanced with riotous laughter and real world references. The best way to spend the night ! Through Roll20 I utilize ambient music, combat music, and sfx for the game. On Discord we also have a a hilarious soundboard for the poignant *oof* or *vine boom* accessible to everyone! Combat is tactical and thought provoking, bring your strategies, take your time, collaborate with your team! You're in hells after all!
