About the adventure
Come and join my game if you are looking to experience the classic Gothic Horror setting of D&D, Ravenloft. This campaign will follow the 5th edition Curse of Strahd campaign book with the option to explore even more bone-chilling curiosities of Ravenloft published in older materials. "Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come—all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle's towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited."

What Rick brings to the table
- Experience I have two years of experience with Foundry VTT, four years with hosting D&D online and eight years with Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. - Dedication I do a lot of behind-the-scenes work with Foundry VTT to make the game run smoothly and to provide the best experience. I do custom tokens, and sometimes maps and handouts if the need arises. I like to keep up the quality of my games even If it's just a one-shot for friends. - Unique experience I customize everything to cater to my players. How Rick creates a safe table
I don't actively use safety tools while running my games, but I like to keep my games entertaining for everyone participating. For that reason, we will discuss everything you want out of the game and things you don't want to see in my game. I'm also an advocate of clear communication. At any point, if something bothers you or feels inappropriate to you just let me know and I will make the appropriate adjustments. No D&D is better than bad D&D, so I usually like to have a short debriefing at the end of every session, where we can openly discuss the game and your honest experience of it, and chat about IRL stuff occasionally.
