About the adventure
Session 0 is FREE. LGBTQ+ Friendly. Orcs, lost dwarven cities, and rumor of great treasure! Finding lost weapons and recent orc raids bring word of what we thought we'd never hear: THE LOST CITY OF KHUNDRUKAR HAS BEEN FOUND! Orcs are raiding the mining town, Blasingdell. Recent clues show the orcs may be occupying the long lost dwarven stronghold: The Forge of Fury. Heroes gather to infiltrate the orc stronghold, and search the lost ruins of the dwarven forge. Save the town, slay the orcs, explore the dark, and reclaim lost treasure. . Venture against the Orcs and explore the ruins in amazing 3D maps in TaleSpire. You will like this campaign if: ✅You enjoy short-to-medium length campaigns covering a few levels. ✅3D environments and custom minis with a tabletop feel sounds like fun. ✅You enjoy facing new and challenging monsters. ✅You enjoy exploration and off-the-cuff roleplay with unexpected creatures. ✅You desire to display heroic bravery. ✅Some of your favorite roleplay is in the middle of combat. ✅Making a plan of attack as a team sounds like fun.

About me
I've had a vivid imagination since I can remember, thinking of entire books and films in my head. When I found DND and TTRPGs, there was a place to put that imagination to share with others. Like playing with legos and paints, I can map out whole worlds. . I've never really gotten tired of. Like playing with LEGOs or paints, I can map out entire worlds: I just can't get enough of this creativity! One of my favorite parts of this hobby is sharing imagination with friends. That's why I love DM'ing so much - surprises, clever players, character development, and new challenges to face together. LGBTQ+ ally, neurodivergent, and all around fun guy. View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Characters will be created on DNDBeyond, preferrably ahead of session 0. Session 0 will be picking party composition. Strongly recommend you have at least 3 character ideas of different class/race/role to fit. In session 0 we will have a practice combat session so that everyone can get an idea of how combat will go, be accustomed to TaleSpire, and what their character can do as part of the team.
The classic fight against an orc stronghold to find long lost dwarven treasure. Scout and storm the orc camp, explore beneath it to find the dwarven keep, and recover long lost treasure in this classic adventure! All presented in TaleSpire 3D.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need Zoom downloaded with Microphone available, and to be familiar enough with DNDBeyond to create a character (although we can teach you DND and DNDBeyond if you have time and are willing to read/learn). Players will NOT need a paid version of Zoom, DNDBeyond, or TaleSpire. The FREE version of all Zoom and DNDBeyond is needed. The FREE version of TaleSpire is preferred but not preferred. Webcam is strongly recommended, but not required. If players can't see you roll your eyes, don't expect them to know you're annoyed. You are expected to know how to at least use your character optimally for a standard turn. I.e. the range of your crossbow, the damage of your weapon, what is the saving throw for your cantrip spell, etc. If you are not aware MENTION THIS BEFORE/DURING SESSION 0 so that we can get you used to how combat happens prior to there being stakes in the game. This campaign can be intense depending on character decisions, so confidence in combat is necessary.
What Robert Gnome brings to the table
Content sharing on DNDBeyond is enabled by DM, who has various source material for character creation. DM will bring Zoom and TaleSpire, as well as 3D maps associated. The DM has TaleSpire with seats. All players can access by using the FREE TaleSpire Guest Edition. DM has various homebrew content that has been created for balance-appropriate character flavor. HeroForge Minis may be brought into the game at no charge, but are 100% at the DM's discretion as they cost money separately.
