About the adventure

Play your own adventure in the official ALIEN tabletop roleplaying game! Individual players welcome. No experience necessary. Join the crew of a cargo freighter on a routine delivery mission. The job changes to a salvage mission when the ship's computer detects a distress beacon. Time to suit up and explore the derelict--oh, and watch for signs of contamination! This introductory adventure is scheduled to go for several sessions, but it could mutate into something much bigger! GAME OVER, MAN!

How to prepare

You will need profiles for Discord and Fantasy Grounds (basic access for both is free). No experience with the Alien RPG, Fantasy Grounds, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!

By joining the game in Fantasy Grounds, you will get access to content from the *Alien RPG*, including pre-built characters.

Gameplay details

Here are the ways that you can make sure everyone has fun and appreciates you: Be generous - Be generous with time in the spotlight. Be generous with imaginary loot. Be generous with opportunities for other players to have fun. Collaborate - Involve everyone in decisions if they affect the whole group. Ask for Help - Don’t be overbearing with advice. Don’t play someone else’s turn, or insist that your way is the only right way. Ask for help or offer help, and it will change how what you’re saying is being received. Be a fan - Be a fan of the other players & their characters. Cheer them on. Be a decent person - Don’t use racist, homophobic or transphopic language. Just don’t. No player-vs-player, and no evil characters. Lines and Veils will be reviewed at the start of the session.
