About the adventure
The Sword Coast has always been a dangerous place, but your friend Gundren never has been known for his good sense. He's been begging you to help him search the depths of a nearby crypt for clues about a myth he's always obsessed over. It would mean a few days' journey away and strange rumors have circulated along the High Road recently. Banditry, remote villages disappearing and stranger things greeted your ears on the way. Life may be too short not to give your friend the satisfaction of poking around an old crypt it seems. This mini-campaign is designed to run from levels 1-6 (initially) and tie-in with future adventures throughout the Forgotten Realms. Additionally features content from The Vineyard RPG Something is amiss in Phandalin... Bizarre disturbances have wracked the town recently as they look to you. Will you answer? Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
This game is ongoing and you will be required to schedule time for an onboarding interview prior to approval to join the table. You will not play if you join inside the cutoff window. Current party (level 7): Moon Druid Battlemaster Fighter Divination Wizard Draconic Sorcerer Not a super combat-focused party, loves to solve problems with negotiation and crafty spell usage - but will throw hands. Currently picking up clues after the original Lost Mine adventure with tweaks and adjustments by me, the GM. Hitting join means: You're 18+ We're here for fun. No transphobia, racism, ableism, etc. Enthusiasm and openness are central to a great adventure.

It's taken me a while to find a game that I believe will stick around for the long haul but think Shevek's game might be the one! This is in part because of their excellent DMing (including ability to set the mood, adjudicate the rules while also allowing for very necessary shenanigans) but also the lovely, safe and inclusive community they've fostered. And most importantly, they're an all round good egg :)

Shevek is an amazing GM who sets the tone of the campaign very well and creates a safe space for creativity. They're also extremely welcoming and receptive to PC ideas and, most importantly, character shenanigans. On top of all that, Shevek is just a lovely person to chat with. I have had such a great experience with Shevek. Excellent game running. Super knowledgeable in the setting and the rules. Very smooth RP between various and wildly different NPCs to help make an immersive story. Very good at recognizing issues with players and addressing them. Highly recommended DM!

Non-featured content: harm to children or domestic creatures, explicit sexuality, sexual assault, systemic racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Allegories of racial prejudice + bioessentialism have been cut from the official setting. ✋Zero tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination based on race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation. How will character creation work
