About the adventure

Welcome adventurers to the world of Fallout! A mad scientist has been abducting people all over from California to the Capital Wasteland and placing them on his labitory/vertiberd. You are among those taken. Infected with a virus that requires medicine from the your abductor to stay alive, you cannot escape. All hope seems lost until the vertibird he took you in crashes in an unfamiliar place. You saw the scientist escape the crash and run off with the bag of medicine you'll soon need. Stranded in an area you are not familiar with, you will have to explore and adapt to find your abductor and get the answers you seek regarding his terrible experiments. **Welcome to Detroit!** Explore a fully open world map created by a GM with 30 years experience where you will find more than 150 locations to discover, loads of NPCs to interact with, and quests waiting for the right group of heroes to come along. **Start your own journey** Create your group of original characters from vault dwellers to ghouls and even robots. Tell your own stories of survival in post-nuclear America with a host of non-playable characters and horrific mutated creatures. **All the items you know** Use iconic weapons, armor, chems, and items translated straight from the video game. Scavenge the ruins of the old world and make your mark on the wasteland. **The 2d20 System** Utilize the 2d20 System roleplaying rules set that supports both story-led adventures and detailed gameplay. Use Action Points to power your incredible wasteland wanderers, and augment their actions with your fantastic Perks. **Survival House Rules** Some of my own house rules will be in play to make the game feel a bit more like the survival mode from the video game. *This campaign, which is beginner friendly, will be run every other week. *

Character creation

Creating your character

Players will create characters during the start of session 0 or before a session if you are joining after session 0. I will walk everyone through character creation and answer any questions. If you would prefer to have a pre-made character I am happy to provide one. In that case I would just ask you a few questions about the character you want to play and create one for you.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a free discord account and a good working microphone. No need to read any rules as this is intended for beginners and I will help you learn as we play.

How Steve C creates a safe table

Before the game I will ask players in private for any lines or vales and then share the list with the group. With the magic of online gaming you can you choose to keep your X cards private by DMing me during the game or announce to the group if you are not comfortable with how a scene is playing out. The nature of Fallout means that some pretty mature themes will likely come up. But at the end of the day the goal if for everyone to come away from the table having had a great experience!
