About the adventure
"Ghosts are REAL. Flying saucers are abducting “us” for study. THE SAVIOR has been and gone; His name “was” Elvis. The CIA has perfected the thought virus, and it’s using it in ATLANTIS, right now. If “you’ve” ever HAD a flash of paranoia, or a nagging doubt about the “accepted” laws of “physics,” you won’t be a STRANGER to Warehouse 23." Every conspiracy theory is true, even the ones that contradict the other ones, the truth is kept here, at Warehouse 23. Warehouse 23 is a storage place for all the secrets "they" don't want you to know about. Alien technology, grimoires of REAL sorcery, psionically gifted individuals, The Ark of the Covenant, Big Foot, and so much more. You have been chosen to be part of a task force operating out of Warehouse 23, with your black suits and shades, and unmarked cars, rumors of your existence outside the know just refer to you as The Men in Black. You were chosen for this role, because you know or ARE something the Warehouse needs to keep secret, but you have been declared... useful. Perhaps you have psionic powers of your own, or are an alien hybrid, or have studied real magic and become a sorcerer, or have had alien technology implanted into your body, or perhaps, you are just a top operative of the mundane government who happened to learn something you shouldn't have about the real world. Regardless of why, you are tasked with recovering artifacts and creatures of extraterrestrial and supernatural origins for the Warehouse 23, so that they may be cataloged and kept safe. Your duties will include operating covertly in the mundane society, protecting the illusion of normalcy, engaging with often hostile entities including opposition from the Sorcerers of Thule, alien infiltrators, and rival government agencies, and on occasion figuring out HOW to keep these strange and powerful things under lock and key. If you are a fan of the X-Files, the Men in Black movies, the SCP Foundation, or conspiracy theories in general, I think you'll enjoy this over the top wacky campaign.

How to prepare
Players will need a microphone. Webcam is optional but welcome. Players will need a free Discord account to join my Discord server where I host the voice call for the campaign. Players will need to download the free software GURPS Character Sheet, to build their character. Players do not need to read the rules ahead of time, I have run GURPS for more than a decade and will teach you what you need to know as you need to know it, though you are encouraged to acquire the Basic Set and learn the basic rules as the game goes on.
What I provide
We will utilize Foundry VTT for this campaign, along with maps from the many mapmakers I support on Patreon, and tokens for all creatures and characters. Ambient music and combat soundtracks are curated by me, and played over Discord. As a GM, I love "clever plans" from my players, and you can expect to be rewarded for coming up with devious approaches to the given problem. I prefer to design a problem without considering the solution, and leave the solving of that problem to the players. Which means you can approach most adventures from many possible directions.
Gameplay details
I can not promise that the content warnings above are complete. But please join with the understanding that this is a setting where life is cheap, and bad things will happen, and as agents of a shadow government you may be tasked with morally repugnant tasks. How you complete your missions will be up to you. However, during session 0, we will discuss any potential lines and veils that the players do not wish to see crossed or shown "on screen." Some content is unavoidable with the campaign concept. All the PCs have basically been kidnapped from their old lives and forced into this job, under threat of death or imprisonment. Rebellion might be possible, as the campaign goes on, but won't be easy. But other content is "optional" and we can decide what to keep out of the game during session 0. This should be a wacky and fun experience for everyone, not an upsetting one.

How will character creation work
We will jointly create character concepts during Session 0. Characters will be built on 250 Character Points. Characters should be built using the free software GURPS Character Sheet (GCS) to allow for easy integration with the VTT. Guidelines for character creation will be provided before Session 0. Players should have access to a copy of GURPS Basic Set for 4th edition for reference when building their characters. If you wish to play a spellcaster, psion, or be really good at fighting, you might want to consider picking up these optional books as well, though I will provide specific needed rules from my copies.
