About the adventure
"Something terrible happened here 30 years ago..." 🌽🌽🍂🍂🌾🌾🎃🎃🥧🥧 The quaint town of Corn Prix is hosting its annual Harvest Festival, drawing in diverse crowds, skilled artisans, and fierce competitors from all over. But something sinister stirs amidst the festivities, and our champions find themselves caught in a quagmire of conspiracy and impending doom for the townsfolk. An ideally portioned adventure for role-play, exploration, mystery, and combat. A great game for beginners and veterans alike! This short story will likely only last 3 or 4 sessions but could potentially become the catalyst for a whole new campaign for you and your party. Characters will likely be travelers who have come to enjoy the charming festivities the town of Corn Prix has to offer. Circumstances will draw the player characters together to form a party to help save this town from disaster. I am eager and available for any players in need of assistance in character creation, character sheet management/tech support, or even just to bounce ideas off of. Our party of three had a three-session mystery campaign with Damon, and it was terrific fun! He is a very approachable and engaging DM who made us alternatingly shriek with laughter and squeak in suspense. His world, characters and the clues to solve the mystery were intricately detailed and brought to life with a combination of enthusiastic voice acting and lovely visuals. Highly recommend!

We have hired Damon twice for groups of 7 for DnD birthday one-shots, ages of participants ranging from 8th grade to 16. Both times have resulted in SO much laughter and a fantastic time! Participants say: "Damon is incredible at improvising when players go crazy or managing a large number of players when we had to speed up the one-shot for time. He still made it fun and still very in the spirit of DnD." "His voice acting plus the visual aids and music made for an amazing and unforgettable DnD experience. I am a first time player and wanted an easy going experience, as I was overwhelmed by the amount of rules. My friends and I chose to play a Pokemon themed campaign, and it has been a fantastic experience! Damon has done an amazing job at being available to guide me through and help me make decisions in the best interest of my character. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Damon ran a very fun story over 4 sessions. He is very engaging with RP and his NPCs have fun voices and personalities. The plot was a satisfying mystery that included some great twists. Damon also is very good at creating meaningful character moments for each character/player. All the visuals and the combat were run and handled smoothly in roll20. I'd love to play at his table again!

How to prepare
Camera not mandatory, though I will be on camera as often as I can. A microphone will be needed, please use Push To Talk if you are in a space with background noise. You'll need a discord account and a Roll20 account, both are free. You will need to have a character created before the beginning of the session, please reach out to me if you need assistance. Ideally, characters will be created and kept on Roll20, though if you prefer to have them created on DNDBeyond and ported over into Roll20, that is fine with me - I'll just need a link to your character sheet. Send me character art for your character!!
What I provide
A portal to transport you into another world full of adventure. Active support for character creation management throughout the course of the campaign. A willingness to listen and adapt to the whims of my players. An open mind and desire for everyone to have fun! Also I make custom maps for my home game and a load of fun homebrew mechanics and features.
Gameplay details
Respect is mandated. Content: Content-wise, this setting has a PG-13 rating - Depictions of violence, trauma, frightening imagery, and occasionally strong language. We will have a time to over player specific triggers before the game, but at any time you may contact me directly if there are any concerns. Alcohol and smoking may or may not be featured, but will not be presented as a prominent theme. There will be no sexual assault, homophobia, or transphobia in my games - in or out of character.
