About the adventure

Brand new level 1-15 adventure for D&D 5th Edition (2014 version.) Many have slipped into the Border Ethereal for a brief moment to escape the clutches of a ravenous owlbear, but few have fully entered the mysterious Ethereal Plane. Discover a world between worlds, an expanse of arcane clouds and raging cyclones where a city called the Radiant Citadel can be found drifting along the swirling emptiness. "Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel" is a book of smaller stand-alone adventures set in fantastical places with many new monsters to encounter. There is no prior knowledge necessary to start this campaign, your character was teleported to a strange new land by a mysterious crystal and now you're looking for a way home. The setting is the Forgotten Realms, also known as Faerûn or Toril, but you will be traveling across the Ethereal Plane to distant worlds inspired by real-world settings. I will be using additional sourcebooks such as "Fizban's Treasury of Dragons" to flesh out the various worlds connected to the Radiant Citadel. Explore vast and unique settings with infinite sandbox gameplay possibilities! Please discuss character details in the Discord channel prior to game start if possible. Session 0 will be brief, and we will jump right into the action. Start at level 1, standard RAW character creation with the option to roll ability scores in the Discord channel. Game details: • Animated spells and weather effects. • High-resolution maps and tokens. • Voice acting for NPCs. • Ambient soundscapes and music. • Hosted on Roll20 for gameplay, Discord for voice chat. Webcam optional. • Standard D&D 5e rules, 3rd party sourcebooks allowed with GM approval. • Interactive environment with lots of non-combat gameplay potential. • Tokens will be provided. • Beginner-friendly, but expect a challenge.
