About the adventure
Wanna romance a dragon? Yeah you do. Since the dawn of the world, dragons ruled with an iron clawed fist, but no longer. Generations ago, the people of your world rebelled, fighting for their freedom and finally winning it with the aid of the mysterious Elves, who then disappeared without a trace, taking the magic of the world with them. Dragonkind ceded the northwestern sea and its surrounding lands and islands to the humans, bordered on all sides by an impassable mountain range. The Freed peoples were safe. For a time. Now famine and strife plague your people, especially the small nameless territory that sits in the shadow of the volcanic mountains marking the border between your world and that of the dragons. You and your friends are desperate. Money has all but run out, and this winter promises to be a harsh one. Many will die, unless you can find a way to pull off the most daring heist you've ever dreamed of: stealing from a Dragon's Hoard. You are likely to fail, but the other option is a slow death to starvation, and you'll soon learn that there is more than one way that a dragon can lay claim to your life. Creating your character
Characters will be created at level 1 in DnD Beyond and managed through a campaign link which will be provided on Join. No unapproved third party content, standard array or point buy, one free feat and one free uncommon magic item Character Notes: Human or human variant, I will accept half elves gnomes and halflings too, dragonborn, yuan-ti, or lizardfolk. Those last three come with lore baggage that would make the other pcs probably dislike you immensely. Starts at level 1, no wizards, bloodhunters, or druids. Cleric has only one God as an option and also comes with baggage.
