Escape the underdark! Out of the abyss [lvl 3-15] [Now lvl 10]
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
There you were, minding your own business, when you were taken. A sack over the head, wrists in chains, you were tossed into a wagon. It's destination? You could only speculate, and none of them seemed good. When you were finally freed from the darkness of the hood, you found yourself π΄π΅πͺππ in the dark. After your eyes finally adjusted, you made a horrifying discovery: you've been captured by the drow! You wouldnβt wish this fate upon anyone, yet here you are β locked in a dark cave, the cold, heavy weight of metal tight around your throat and wrists. You are not alone. Other prisoners are trapped in here with you, in an underground outpost far from the light of the sun. Your captors include a cruel drow priestess who calls herself Mistress Ilvara of House Mizzrym. Over the past few days, youβve met her several times, robed in silken garments and flanked by two male drow, one of whom has a mass of scars along one side of his face and neck. Mistress Ilvara likes to impress her will with scourge in hand and remind you that your life now belongs to her. βπ¨πππππ ππππ ππππ, πππππ ππ ππππ, πππ πππ πππ πππππππ.β Her words echo in your memory, even as you plot your escape. Out of the abyss is a dark and gritty survival horror that will pit your character's sanity against the monstrosities of the Underdark and its denizens. How to prepare
You will need: - a D&D Beyond and Roll 20 account. (basic is fine) - You will need at minimum a mic, webcam is not necessary if you don't want to be on camera (though it is more fun to see reactions) - Have a basic idea of at least the character you want to play, and by the end of session 0, a description so I can make the tokens.
What I provide
Here's what I bring: -custom tokens -maps with use of dynamic lighting -background music to set the vibe. -bad attempts at character voices Things we will track: rations π² water π sanity π§ Things we won't track: common arrows πΉ (unless you REALLY want to)
Gameplay details
We will start with a free Session 0 where we create characters and go over each others lines and veils. There is no shaming or discrimination at my table. After each session we will have a debrief/stars and wishes session. I'll ask if anyone wants to mention anything or post a link to fill out a form online.

How will character creation work
This will happen in session 0, which will be a free session. We can discuss the characters, classes, and races you are interested in playing and try to put together a cohesive team. No edgy loner types, this is a cooperative campaign. Stats can either be rolled for on D&D beyond, standard array, or point buy. IF rolling, it will be done with a shared screen during session zero so everyone can cheer or offer their condolences. Starting level will depend on number of players. 3 start at level 3 4-5 start at level 2 Character will be made on DNDbeyond, but you can easily use Beyond20 to transfer them to Roll20 if you are more comfortable using that.
