    About the adventure

The bustling tavern 'The Gilded Flask' has been the stop-over for many merchants and travelers on the road to and from Waterdeep. The owners of the tavern, all adventurers in their own right, chose to live a quieter life and settled on the edge of the Ardeep Forest. Tonight though, they have been asked to go out on a small adventure as a favour to a friend of old. You and your group have been hired as temps to keep The Gilded Flask running, for one night. Serving drinks, sending out food, and making sure the bar stays in tip-top shape. The pay is good, and the job doesn't seem to be so hard. After all... what could possibly go wrong in just one night?

    How to prepare

A microphone will be a necessity, webcam is optional though I do prefer using them. I will use mine so I can convey my story to the players better. If you are uncomfortable with being on webcam, you do not have to! A headset is highly recommended. Please have a look at my table rules beforehand, and feel free to ask any questions before we start. As for dice, you can use the DnDBeyond digital dice, or physical ones if you prefer. I like to work with an honor system, so I trust you are honest about your dice throws. You will only need a Chrome (or chromium-compatible) browser to run my oneshots, no additional software needed.

    What I provide

I will bring an amazingly detailed world to play in, with maps designed by myself. If you sent me an image of your character, I will make sure it will be turned into a token before we start! No image? Give me your best description and I will do my best to make a token that suits your description, before we start!

    Gameplay details

Before we play, I will invite you to my personal Discord, and share three short survey lists with you covering the lines and veils you might wish, as well as some player expectations so I can tailor the story to suit your needs and wishes.

    How will character creation work

Your characters will be limited to level 3, and should be created before the Oneshot starts. I highly prefer character sheets through D&D Beyond, but if you make a PDF that is fine too! You are free to pick any character and class combination, though I always do advise to check with the rest of the players if you are unsure of your choice. This oneshot is relatively low combat and more roleplay. If you need help in creating your character or if you have any specific questions for creation, you can ask them to me or eachother through Discord. A separate channel will be made for your game!

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: Low
    • Roleplay: High
    • Puzzles: Low
    • Experience Level: Open to all
