About the adventure
I'm running the case file from the Starter Set and using the official handouts along with my own music and visual aids to get into the dark future noir vibe. You get a choice of 4 pre-generated characters and are free to put your own spin on their personality as you wish. The entire case file takes roughly 3 or 4 sessions to complete with sessions being between 3 and 4 hours with a break in the middle. It's a detective style game that involves you following leads and gathering clues by visiting locations and talking to witnesses etc. Knowledge of the films, especially Blade Runner 2049 will increase your enjoyment of the game as it has lots of references to them. I challenge you to find them! Here's the game description... This is the BLADE RUNNER roleplaying game – a neon-noir wonderland that’ll take your breath away. One way or another. An evocative world of conflicts and contrasts that dares to ask the hard questions and investigate the powers of empathy, the poisons of fear, and the burdens of being human during inhumane times. An iconic and unforgiving playground of endless possibilities that picks you up, slaps you in the face, and tells you to wake up. Time to live. Or time to die.

About me
Hey adventurer! My names is Steve and I'm a game master from the UK, running Fantasy and Sci-Fi RPG campaigns and one shots. Mainly through the awesome Alchemy VTT platform. I'm all about giving my players choices and encouraging discussions that get you as players thinking and acting for yourselves. A good game for me is one where you feel part of the world and you feel taken on a journey and are left at the end of the session wanting to know more about it. My games involve lots of roleplaying of moral conflicts, character drama and posing questions that might challenge your characters world view and maybe consider your own while you're at it. Expect puzzles, enigmatic characters and of course a little combat when words are not enough. Characters are pre-generated for this session (they come with the starter set) players are free to choose who they want to play. We'll talk about them before we begin.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need a clear microphone with minimal background noise and headphones. I use Discord and Foundry VTT which has dice rolling and note taking features. It's not essential but watching the Blade Runner 2049 film will really set the scene for you and fill you in on the setting.
What Kinkajou brings to the table
Everything is hosted on Foundry VTT and your player login houses all the handouts, dice and your own notes to add to when you feel it's relevant.
