All our wailing could not drown out his silence." - Author unknown Death is coming to Faerûn. From the deepest black of the void above. Only the greatest of heroes have even the slightest chance of turning aside the coming darkness. Will you answer the call? In this level 15-20 campaign, blending elements of both the Forgotten Realms and Spelljammer, your characters will be thrust into the centre of an apocalyptic war between two Lovecraftian cosmic horrors. Many of the enemies in this campaign are amongst the most powerful characters can ever face, with several specifically homebrewed for more experienced players. Combat will be especially deadly and the challenges will be far more complex than "whack it until it is dead". However your high level characters have many tricks up their sleeves and every player will have a chance to acquire artefact tier items and epic boons to better prepare themselves for the trials ahead. We will work together in session 0 to establish your already legendary player character and choose their glorious equipment and history, or even convert one of your already existing characters from a previous campaign. You have slain countless dragons, defeated the vilest filth of the Abyss and the Hells, tangled with ancient liches, rescued fair cities and conquered the deepest of dungeons. But nothing in your legendary career has prepared you for this.

Creating your character
Character creation will largely take place in session 0 but you can make your own level 15 character beforehand, without equipment, if you wish! We will decide what equipment each character has in session 0. You can bring your own high level characters from previous games if you wish but some adjustments may be needed to make sure the party is balanced for the adventure. If you create a new character we will work in session 0 to tie them deeply into the story of the Forgotten Realms as an already legendary hero.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will take place on Discord and Roll20 so you will require accounts on both of these platforms. A mic is required and a webcam recommended but not necessary.
